"I hope you will make my last wish come true," Mr Wilson said with a weak voice.
"Don't say it like that, it not like you are going to die anytime soon. I am sure you will see your grand babies," Leah said with a smile trying to hide the burning tears that seems to burst out.
She had to be strong not only for herself but for the people she loved and her enemies. No matter how demanding.
"I will do my best that what happened in my past life never repeat itself," Leah said inwardly.
"Sorry for the interruption," A female voice came from behind.
They both turned their attention to the direction of the voice.
They saw a familiar nurse. Nurse Jane who had been taking care of Mr Wilson during his time at the hospital.
"Good afternoon, Miss Jane," Leah said with a smile.
"Good afternoon miss Leah, but visiting time is over. Mr Wilson needs to take his medicine and gets some rest," Nurse Jane said.
"Okay, I will leave soon," Leah said as she turned her gaze towards her father.
"Don't worry father, everything will be alright," Leah said as she picked up her purse and exit the room.
As she came out the tears she had been holding burst out. She self engulfed with too much emotion. She was happy that she could see her father again, sad that her father is still in pain and she couldn't do anything to help it, grateful that she is given a second chance by fate.
"Miss," A gentle voice said from behind.
Leah cleaned her tears before turning to look back.
"Good afternoon doctor Smith," Leah said as she stretched her right hands towards him for a handshake.
"Good afternoon miss Leah," Doctor Smith said as he returned the hand shake.
"Please don't be sad about his condition. We are trying our best to make sure he gets better," Doctor Smith said trying to calm Leah.
"Okay, I have heard you. How much time does he have left?" Leah asked.
"One to two years at most. The cancer cells are spreading rapidly inside him," Doctor Smith said.
"Okay, I believe you will do something about it," Leah said as she turned to leave.
She came from the future and had already known how it all happened. His fate was sealed, she should just make sure he lives a happy life with his remaining time.
"That what I am gonna focus on," Leah said to herself inwardly.
The driver drove her to her home. Despite having the Wilson family house, she prefer living alone as she is mostly bullied by everyone. But now, there will be changes.
Leah opened the door to her room feeling exhausted from the entire work from today.
She dragged herself to the bathroom where she quickly refreshed herself and changed into a night gown.
She lay on her bed and was about to close her eyes when her phone started ringing.
"Ahhh, who is it," Leah said with a she picked up her purse which was on top the shelf near the bed.
Before she could get it out, the call ended.
"Who is it," Leah grumbled as she opened her phone. She headed to the last dial when suddenly the phone begin ringing.
Realising who the caller it a frown settled on her face.
"What does he want this time?" Leah asked as she hissed.
"I made myself crystal clear this afternoon," Leah said as she finally picked the call.
"You don't want to pick my call up right?" Kelvin asked with an angry tone.
"Who do you think you are? It my phone and I decide which call I want to pick," Leah replied with the same tone.
"Is this Leah?" Kelvin asked to be sure he isn't speaking to the wrong person.
This clearly isn't the love-struck Leah he knew. The former was timid and would always follow his commands. This one is rebellious.
"Yeah, who do you think you are talking to?" Leah asked.
"If you are calling me to tell me you have signed the engagement break up papers. Just send it to my office tomorrow," Leah said.
"Other than that, don't call me. Or else...." Leah threatened.
"Or else what? What can you do?" Kelvin asked.
"A lot," Leah replied calmly.
"Let me tell you.i am calling to give you your last chance. Don't blame me for rejecting you when you come crying back," Kelvin said.
"Crying back?" Leah asked with a chuckle which seemed to annoy Kelvin. Even thought Kelvin isn't there Leah could guess how red his face would have turn due to anger.
"You are hilarious!" Leah said.
"If you don't have any useful thing to say I am hanging up," Leah said as she hung up.
She took a deep sigh of relief.
Meanwhile in Kelvin's house.
"What did she say?" Olivia asked as she gently massaged Kelvin's shoulders.
"She didn't accept it. She insisted on standing on the break up," Kelvin said with his face twisted in anger.
"She is just trying to grow the business. Maybe we can use this to our benefit," Olivia said with a vicious smile.
"Use what?" Kelvin asked immediately interested in Olivia idea.
"There is nothing that can bring down a business more than a scandal. Leave that to me. I can hire someone to bad mouth her saying because she inherited the business she break up with her fiance," Olivia said with a sky smile.
"Will that work?" Kelvin asked with a doubtful look.
"Of course, here she is portrayed as vicious and power hungry. We can even creat post if you guy moments to make it more believable," Olivia said.
"Good, that why I love you. You always have these tactics and scheming plans. When do we start the plan?" Kelvin asked as his face brightened up.
"We can start now," Olivia said.
"I will inform the person, i just need some of those photos from you," Olivia said.
"Sure, j can send it now," Kelvin said as he started searching from it in his deleted folder.
The happy moments Olivia was referring to was when both him and Leah got engaged. His father forced him to go on several dates with her. Who knew it would come in handy.
"Leah don't blame me for being heartless. You started a fire you can't withstand," Kelvin said with a malicious smirk.
"Now, just seat back and enjoy the show," Olivia said with a wicked smile on her face.
