The first class ended uneventfully, except for a few girls stealing glances at me.
In the game, everyone except the main cast originally had the same character design, distinguished only by gender. Now, they each have their own unique appearance. While I wouldn't say they are all strikingly beautiful or handsome, I think at least half of them are above average.
Among the girls in the class, one stood out from the rest. She sat at the end of the room, right beside the window seat.
Midori Saito, the first heroine introduced in the game, lived just a few blocks from the main character and was also his childhood friend, known for her impeccable appearance and top academic performance. Her slender, athletic build was accentuated by well-defined curves and a graceful posture that added to her commanding presence. With piercing brown eyes and dark, straight hair always tied in a neat ponytail, she exuded confidence and authority. Midori's stoic personality meant she rarely showed facial expressions, even to the main character.
Despite her stern exterior, she had a soft side for a select few, including the main character, and was always straightforward with her feelings. Yet the main character hesitated, avoiding direct confrontation with the situation, cautious of potential misunderstandings.
Like the fuck, bro, it doesn't take a genius to read these obvious signs.
Returning to the subject at hand, the protagonist is actually the boy seated next to the window at the rear of the classroom—talk about a coincidence!
He was a gloomy boy with a thin, little physique who frequently blended into the background with his quiet manner and downcast gaze. This guy's social life was even worse than mine in my previous life; while my isolation was intentional, he simply lacked self-confidence, As for his name, I'm not entirely sure. In the game, we had to name him ourselves, and after transmigrating, who knows, he might even be called Philip since that was the name I used.
In our class, Section D, Midori Saito happened to be the only heroine who ended up in the same class as the MC.

We just finished third period, and it's currently lunch break. Despite expecting to be surrounded by girls, it seems my appearance has the opposite effect—it actually seems to make them shy away. They sneak glances and squeak in embarrassment whenever I catch their eye.
But this might work in my favor. The previous Eric was a piece of sh*t—friendly, always smiling, seemed like a good guy on the surface, but behind that facade, he did some pretty atrocious things.
Luckily, I've been transmigrated early in the game where he was introduced, giving me the chance to build my own social life and choose my connections wisely.
So, do I want a social life filled with numerous friends and constant parties worthy of being noted in a diary?
FU*K no! Although I understand the importance of friends, not having many was never a regret of mine. The only thing I regret from my past life is not hitting the gym. I had three friends whom I could reach out to at any time; although we didn't hang out all the time, we still managed to get together occasionally. The mutual friendship where you don't need constant contact to keep the relationship alive—that was the ideal social life for me.
So, I'm maintaining my old lifestyle—blending in, not standing out, and never initiating conversations first. I smile only when necessary, making it harder for others to approach me. I don't believe real friends are made through conversations; I think they're forged through challenging circumstances. That's where I made mine.
After sorting through the notes I took from the previous period, I pulled out the lunch box Eric's—uh, I mean, my mom made for me.
While I was eating, some students from other classes came over just to see me. I guess it's rare to have a foreign transfer, or maybe it's my undeniable charm drawing them in. *Tossing my long, lustrous hair in my imagination*
I'm kidding, I'm kidding; our group of friends in my previous life had a habit of making proud remarks even though we were quite average, but it was all in good fun—maybe our sense of humor was a bit off, but now that I've got the looks to back me up, maybe I can use them to get out of sticky situations.
I was going to ignore them, but they just kept coming, filling up the doors and windows. Some whispered, giggled, and even called out to me before disappearing back into the crowd.
This went on for a while, and just as I was about to address it, Midori stood up and shooed the students away, warning she'd call the teacher if they kept it up.
After they returned to their class, I think she glanced at me briefly before returning to her seat. I didn't catch her expression because I maintained my mysterious demeanor throughout the whole situation, never looking directly at anyone.
I didn't do this just to appear mysterious; it's because on our way to school, I kept exploring the system's functions and discovered that it can still be uninitialized. But I would need to be undisturbed for at least 7 hours, and I shouldn't interact with any main characters from the game to complete it.Otherwise, it would interpret any interaction as confirmation for force initialization.
So, even if I come across as rude, I can't make any contact with the main cast until the system is fully uninitialized.
Just like that, my first day at school passed. I took my bag and swiftly took off without making any contact. But as soon as I reached the playground, a bunch of students gathered around me, giggling and pushing each other but avoiding direct contact, as if I were some exotic creature.
Although my father told me to wait at school so he could pick me up, staying here where everyone keeps looking at me increases the chance of making contact with the main characters.
So, it looks like I'll be finding my own way back home.
