Although it hasn't been long since we moved here, I've memorized the name of the street where we live so i can use public transport for returning. However, since the bus stop closest to our school is crowded with students, I'll have to walk to the next stop to avoid any confrontation with the main cast.
I reached the bus stop closest to our school but decided to walk past it and head to the next stop on foot. I took an unpopular route since I could still feel some gazes on me.
The path I took had significantly fewer people, so now I can relax a bit. Although it may take longer to reach the next stop, avoiding interaction with the main cast is my top priority.
As I walked past a quiet alley, a little kid with heavy breathing and a worried expression ran up to me, tugging on my sweater.
"Big brother, big brother! Please help my sister," he cried, his nose running with snot.
"Calm down first, and tell me what happened," I said, kneeling to meet his eyes.
But without answering, he took off towards the alley. Knowing the situation, I had no choice but to follow. Leaving a troubled kid would weigh too heavily on my conscience.
After a few turns, we reached an alley that was completely deserted. In the dim light of the alley, a very beautiful Japanese high school girl stood out, her long, silky hair cascading down her back. Her gentle face was framed by delicate features, with soft, expressive eyes that were filled with anxiety. Dressed in casual clothes, a fitted blouse, and jeans, her ample curves were accentuated, emphasizing her large bust and shapely hips. Her stunning appearance contrasted sharply with her distress as she was surrounded by a group of rough-looking gangsters, their intimidating presence heightening her vulnerability.
Her beauty was out of this world, so stunning that it almost seemed suspicious.

I fu*king knew it. Her beauty level is way off the charts for a mob character.
Knowing that only two of the heroines have black hair and having already met Midori Saito, that must mean she is Akari Rei, one of the heroines.
In the game, her father owned a bookstore, and she used to work there. Due to their shop's location not being the best, she often faced trouble with thugs. This was how she initially met the MC in the game, and there was an option for interaction.
a) Help her
b) abandon her
Something like that. Of course, I chose option A in the game and faked calling the police, making the thugs flee the scene.
Is this the same scenario? Did I just stumble into the game's plot and disrupt the storyline? And why does it have to happen today, when I absolutely can't interact with any main characters?
"Please help!" the little kid tugged my shirt, pulling me out of my thoughts and diverting the thugs' attention to us.
The thugs appeared slightly intimidated by my appearance, but I, for one, didn't fear them. Inheriting Eric's memories also meant inheriting his skills—I was a Taekwondo black belt with basic training in boxing and judo. I knew I wasn't an easy opponent for simple street thugs.
"We're just chatting here. Leave if you don't want trouble," one of the four yelled, brandishing a pocket knife at me.
That's such a cliché line for a thug. Maybe if I walk away now, the main character will show up and save the day eventually. While thinking this, I continue walking towards the thugs, closing our distance.
The thug closest to me wasn't just going to stand there and wait. He dashed forward with surprising speed, throwing a punch aimed directly at me.
But I had anticipated his move and was ready. As he lunged, I dodged and swiftly countered, driving my palm into his jaw and knocking him out cold. It seems I have more strength than I thought.
Seeing their friend knocked out cold in an instant, the thugs exchanged glances, signaling each other before starting to surround me.
"Take your friend and leave, or there will be consequences," I announced, my face showing no emotion. I didn't actually expect them to leave; I just thought it would sound cool.
Even though it would have sounded super cringe-worthy in my old voice, with my new voice, the words came out with a commanding presence. My voice was deep and resonant, making the threat feel authoritative and powerful. It surprised even me how much weight and confidence my words carried.
The thugs halted their actions, exchanging uncertain glances. It appeared as though they were briefly weighing their alternatives. To my surprise, they decided to grab their unconscious friend and, without uttering another word, quickly fled the scene. The hush that ensued was almost unsettling. as if my words had truly struck fear into them. It seems my bluff got through to them.
Although I am confident that I could handle at least five of them simultaneously, I'd prefer not to take that risk if it can be avoided.
After they left, the little kid ran to his sister, hugging her tightly. Although it was a heartwarming moment, I didn't have time for sh*t like that.
The system has yet to notify me of any initiation confirmation, indicating that aiding a main cast member without direct contact isn't recognized as a confirmation of forced initiation. So, if I quickly leave the scene without any direct contact, I can still cancel the forced initiation tonight.
I swiftly turned around and tried to leave the alley without looking too suspicious. Then suddenly, an angelic voice crept up behind me.
"Ex-excuse me"
