land and its traditions. They were farmers, warriors, and craftsmen with skilled trades
who continued their empire. They honored the gods, especially Helios, the sun god,
whose favor was essential to their well-being. The landscapes covered temples and altars, places of worship where priests and priestesses performed rituals to honor the god and secure the blessings of the gods
Aeëtes' the great ruler of Colchis, His lineage performed a crucial role in his destiny as a founder and ruler of Colchis. He was the son of Helios, the Titan solar god, and Perseis, an Oceanid. This divine parentage endowed Aeëtes with vast strength and wisdom for a ruler that helped him in founding and governing a newly established realm. Helio, as the omniscient observer of the earth, imparted to Aeëtes a far- accomplishing vision, while Perseis' connection to the boundless ocean symbolized infinite opportunities and resources.
Aeëtes did not originally rule Colchis but came to the region as part of his divine mission. it is generally believed that Aeëtes was guided by the gods, perhaps Helios himself, to establish an enchanting kingdom in this fertile and strategically located land on the eastern edge of the Black Sea. The divine guiding underscored the significance of Colchis in the broader historical landscape, making Aeëtes' mission one of both divine purpose and personal ambition.
Aeëtes was proud on the life he built his ocean nymph wife Idyia, three children with divine heritage, well established kingdom and most significantly the Golden Fleece.
