"For four good years I spent with Vivienne I kept calling her a substitute bride." I thought she sold her kidney to me in order to save her dad and get married to me.
"But now I know best."
"I thought I knew Mary." But now I know I don't know anything about her. To even think I have loved for 8 years.
"She told me Vivienne was her friend who needed money to save her dad and she was ready to do anything for her dad."
"When I told her about my mom's and how she needed a kidney donor?" She told me her friend has accepted to give her kidney to my mom. As long as I agreed to get married to her. And because I wanted to save my mom I accepted.
"Throughout these four years I spent with Vivienne it was the best years of my life." But I didn't wanted to acknowledge it since she was just a substitute bride.
"And now I regret it."
"How can someone be that heartless to force her sister to sell her kidney to save their father?" I asked no one but myself.
"To even make matters worse I never believed her when she told me she was pregnant but rather I asked the doctor to get rid of the baby. Saying she was just pretending.
"And I am very positive the doctor did as I asked him to." If not she won't have survived the transplant. And right now I have lost her.
"I am sorry boss, I tried stopping her from coming." My Personal assistant said bringing me back to my senses.
"And standing behind her was Mary Parker, the girl I loved for 8 years." Who lied to me that Vivienne Parker wasn't her sister but a friend.
"Bae, I have told you to sake this PA of yours but you never listen to me." See how rude she is talking to me. Mary said to me. And for some reason the sound of her voice irritates me.
"Is okay Lily, you can go back to your office." I said to my personal assistant and she immediately left my office while closing the door behind her.
"What do you want, Mary?" I asked her.
"Come on babe." Don't tell me you are still mad at me over what happened yesterday? She asked me.
"I am serious, Mary Parker. "What do you want?" I asked her and this time I was very loud. So she won't think I am joking with her.
"I came to apologize to you, Aaron." I am sorry I lied to you that Vivienne is my friend. I was just scared that you might love her more than you love me. She said to me..
"And that somehow made me laugh out loud." how foolish I have been all these years. I am a very big business man and no man challenges me when it comes to business but right now.
"I found out I am a big fool when it comes to love." To a point where a foolish later will do these to me.
"Babe, why are you laughing?" I am serious. I am sorry for lying to you. She said again..
"Is that all?" I asked her.
"Come on babe, you haven't forgiven me yet." She said as she walked towards me and hugged me from behind." And for some reason her smell started shocking me.
"I have forgiven you Mary." I said to her as I freed her arms which she wrapped around me.
"Thanks so much babe." I actually have good news to tell you but I just couldn't inform you since you were still angry with me. She said to me,
"What is it you want to tell me?" I asked her.
These past few weeks, I have not been feeling too well so I went to the hospital today to get a check up and guess what? She asked me and it was as if I should give her a sound slap. "Who is she asking to guest?" I said to myself. But I just hold myself since she was a woman and I have once loved her.
"I can't guess". Will you just tell me what the doctor said? I asked her.
"Fine I will tell you."
"I am pregnant". She said,
"What do you mean by you are pregnant?" I asked her since I was still in shock about it.
"Why aren't you sounding happy?" Isn't this what you have always wanted? To have a child with me? She asked.
"Well, in the past that is what I wanted but not now." I said to her clearly.
"So who do you want to have a child with now?" Don't tell me you want to have a child with my sister? She asked me and I was quiet.
"Because actually what she is saying is the actual truth."
"Don't forget she asked for a divorce and she broke the contract." It's not yet 5 years and she left you. Mary said to me, reminding me of how stupid have been all these years. Something I never wanted to remember.
"But then again, she is carrying my baby and there is no way I will make the same mistake as I did with Vivienne."
"I don't have to remind myself about that." And I am going to father the child. I said to her,
"Does that mean you are going to get married to me as soon as possible?" She asked me and I lifted my head and looked at her."
"No. Because I am still married to your sister. Whom you deceived." I said to her,
"I just apologize and you told me you have forgiven me so why are you still bringing up the matter?" She asked me.
I don't have to explain myself to you, Mary Parker. But just know that I won't get married to you since I am already married to your sister but I will definitely take care of the baby. I said to her,
"And she immediately walked out of my office without saying anything to me."
