Akai rose to open the door, revealing a kind-faced stranger.
"A man outside asked me to give you this..." the woman said, handing Akai the packet of sanitary pads Ryder had purchased.
"Thank you so much.." Akai replied, gratitude painted her face.
The stranger smiled warmly. "It's okay.. We've all been there. Your man is certainly caring; I must say."
With those comforting words, the woman turned to depart, vanishing into the hallway.
Akai's gaze fell to the packet in her hands, her heart overflowing with feelings.
Taking the packet, Akai re-entered the bathroom. Inside, she found a beautiful long frock and a set of underwear. Her face flushed crimson as she realized Ryder had chosen these intimate items for her.
