Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: Of Fire and Ice

"A month after the ceremony, Athena gets assigned on a mission to fight against a mysterious anarchist with a wisecrack sense of dark humor." The Narrator said.

"It's not going to be easy Athena, your opponent is on par with your level, even though he doesn't have powers, he has the skills and knowledge of a soldier." The captain warned.

"I suggest you bring a fur coat, because the place you'll be heading, is a snowy mountain." The captain said, finishing his meeting.

"That anarchist seems to be a wild card, not only does he enjoy anarchy but he has the time to make a joke of it, he seems to be intriguing." Athena said to herself as she left the camp.

"As Athena travelled outside the kingdom, she could not help but feel a little different considering she had not seen much of the outside world." The Narrator said.

"Not going to lie, it feels different as I walk out of he gates of my homeland, it makes me feel a bit insecure but nonetheless I'll eventually overcome it." Athena said to herself.

"The enemy she was tasked in locating lived nearby a snowy village, was an expert swordsman, loves hunting people for sport, calculated and loves animals." The Narrator said.

"Honestly I can't wait to get over this, I miss my Mother's porridge right about now." Athena sighed as she traveled and hiked up the mountain.

"As Athena continued hiking, she was planning a strategy on how to deal with her over the top enemy." The Narrator said.

"I best be careful, he can be quite the crafty opponent." Athena thought to herself as she was about to reach the top of the snowy mountain.

"Hmmm, I guess this is what it feels like to hike up a mountain, challenging but I might give it a try more often." Athena said as she walked.

"As she traveled around the mountain, she eventually came across a snowy village, where it was peaceful as the villagers were farming and working very hard." The Narrator described.

"This is putting me on edge, but at least I was brought with a furry coat for this particular kind of climate." Athena said to herself.

"As Athena travelled across the mountain, she was eventually met with her opponent." The Narrator said in suspense.

"Well, you don't seem you're from around here, do you?" The mysterious person said.

"Athena turned around and the mysterious person before her was a man wearing a hood, with a mask on his face, with a sword in his right hand, wearing a cape and with a sinister smile." The Narrator described.

"Athena prepares to draw her blade and swings it but the mysterious person catches it." The Narrator said in shock.

"It's true as they say, there is only one universal language in this world, and that is violence!!!" The mysterious man exclaimed as he swung his sword.

"Athena manages to dodge the mysterious man's attack but almost fell down from the ground." The Narrator said.

"You believe in violence?" Athena said.

"Violence, hah?" The mysterious man laughed.

"Violence is not only a language but also a question!" The mysterious man declared.

"So what are you trying to explain here, smart-ass?" Athena said frustratingly.

"That the world we live in will never stop having wars because of the endless cycle of violence!" The mysterious man said as he swung his blade.

"Athena proceeds to launch a fireball towards the man, but he dodges and appears from behind." The Narrator said.

"You shouldn't have let your guard down." The mysterious man said.

"I didn't, you did." Athena smirked.

"Athena steps on the ground and slowly freezes the man with her ice powers.

"As I've said I'm not the one who was caught lacking, you did." Athena smirked.

"Not bad, you got me with this one." The mysterious man said.

"So may I ask, what is your name?" Athena asked the mysterious man, waiting for him to respond.

"My name is Alexander but some would call me the Man Who Dies by the Blade." Alexander replies.

"That's a pretty heavy nickname, if you ask me." Athena said as she ate an apple.

"That's something coming from a government official." Alexander rebuked.

"Oh yeah I forgot you hate us government people." Athena said.

"So tell me why do you hate government people?" Athena asked waiting for Alexander to respond.

"It is because the government does nothing they don't take immediate action to the problems plus they tend to be corrupt and don't mind the people who suffer in poverty and injustice!" Alexander rebuked.

"And so I was born from the hate of the government, to your people, I am a public enemy but to those who suffer injustice, I am their hero." Alexander exclaimed.

"Your words speak louder than actions." Athena remarked.

"Indeed, so are you willing to let me go?" Alexander asked.

"No." Athena replied in a calm tone.

"What? Even after telling you all about my cause, you still join their cause, for what other reason should you join them?" Alexander exclaimed.

"I pity you, Alexander. You're continuing to fight when youre clearly stuck in the past." Athena stated.

"Wh-what do you mean?" Alexander asked in confusion.

"The ones you declare war upon are at peace, they treat others with such equality, you Alexander are someone from the past, let go of it and join us for what the world it is today." Athena said as she reached her hand out to Alexander.

"No, I refuse. I will never. I'd die than accept what the world is right now." Alexander said as he proceeded to stab himself, lying down on the ground.

"Athena was left in shock and could not help but froze after what had just happened, that moment was something that changed her life forever and made her have a vendetta against the government." The Narrator said.

"Honestly even though you were my assigned enemy to kill, you managed to bleed me not physically but internally, but I'm sure one day, that your vendetta will be gone as I'm sure one day someone will end the corruption of the government." Athena said as she had buried Alexander.

"Rest in peace, Alexander of the Blade." Athena said as she left his gravesite.

"And so Athena headed back to her kingdom, Elderith and went to report to her superior." The Narrator said.

"It has been done sir, the anarchist is eliminated and can no longer pose a threat." Athena said as she reported to her captain.

"Good job, lieutenant. I knew you could do it. You are dismissed." The captain said.

"Athena left and as she left, she walks to an alley and as she walks, she pauses and stands still." The Narrator said.

"So I'm sure you've got my message." Athena said.

"Yes, I've received your telegram message." Creo replied as he appeared from the shadows.

"Promise me another thing Creo, that if you become the king of this kingdom, you will be the one who will fix the mistakes and fix the dark areas of Elderith." Athena said as she held Creo's hand.

"I will, and I promise. Alexander's death will not be for nothing." Creo replied.

"As always I can trust you in everything." Athena smiled.

"You're always welcome, Athena." Creo stated as he left with a smile.

"Athena could not help but slightly blush after what had happened." The Narrator said.

"I swear, I want this man to be my future husband in a distant future." Athena said to herself, as she walked out of the alley.
