It was but another day in Elderith as Athena had began another journey but this time, things are going to be a lot different.
"I wonder what mission will I have to do today..." Athena said to herself.
As she was walking, she finds Creo talking to two people she had never met before and was reluctant to approach him at first.
Creo eventually glances over and sees her from afar and looks at her with a smile.
"Hey Athena, come join us!" Creo exclaimed.
"Okay then." Athena said as she walked forward.
"I noticed you've been watching from afar so I decided to call you in." Creo said.
"Um who is she?" A male voice asked.
"Oh sorry about that, how rude of me to not introduce you guys to one another, she is Athena Ardenvain, the Light of Elderith, one of my comrades during the Eldenmore War." Creo stated.
"And these two Athena are some of my friends, this man's name is Oskar Overlordus, he's a capable fighter himself and this girl's name is Amara Arcane, she's a healer and potionsmaker." Creo stated.
"Nice meeting you, Light of Elderith." Amara said, extending her hand.
"It's a pleasure." Athena said, shaking her hand.
"So I also called all three of you here for a specific reason." Creo said.
"And what would that be?" Oskar asked.
"Let me guess Creo, another superhuman to fight?" Athena asked.
"You read me like a book Athena." Creo replied.
"What can I say, to me you're an open book." Athena said while smirking.
"Anyways, the superhuman you guys are assigned to track down is a man who calls himself Triton." Creo replied.
"And what would be his powers be?" Oskar asked.
"If I remember correctly, he has the power to manipulate water and his primary weapon of offense and defense is a trident." Creo stated.
"He's also a pretty arrogant person." Creo said, sighing.
"Another scum just like Locke huh..." Athena stated.
"I guess you could say that..." Creo said.
"If things go south, you can just summon me with this." Creo said, as he handed out a mysterious object.
"What's this?" Athena asked.
"It's a signal, once activated, it will shoot out a beam up in the sky and once I see it, I'll come immediately." Creo replied.
"Enough saying, good luck in your adventure." Creo replied.
"Will do Creo." Athena stated.
"I have faith and trust that you guys will succeed." Creo said as he walked away.
"Well let's make a move shall we?" Athena said.
"I guess I'll lead the way, since I was the one who knows about Triton's whereabouts." Oskar said.
"Ok lead the way then Oskar." Athena said.
"So uh, I was wondering if we could get to know each other while we're on this mission." Oskar said.
"I agree with you on that." Athena said.
"Can't say I don't agree as well..." Amara said.
"So, mind if I ask you something Athena?" Amara asked.
"Sure what is it?" Athena said, responding to Amara's question and waiting for her response.
"You and Creo seem close..." Amara responded.
"Yeah, I am pretty close with him, he's a formidable warrior on the front lines of the Eldenmore War." Athena said.
"I see..." Amara responded.
"By the way, we are heading close to Triton's territory..." Oskar said.
"Territory?" Athena said.
"Yes...Triton is a man with strong connections so basically he is a criminal mastermind and knowing him, he is an arrogant douchebag." Oskar said.
"Hmph, arrogant douchebags are just the people I like to target." Athena replied.
"Guess you're not the only one huh?" Oskar chuckled.
"You two seem to be getting real close already?" Amara said teasingly.
"Is it making you feel jealous Amara?" Oskar asked.
"Not that I'm feeling jealous or anything, but then again you guys could be a couple..." Amara replied.
"Hmph, no way..." Athena said.
"Does that mean you have a boyfriend Athena?" Oskar asked.
"Y-yes!!!" Athena exclaimed.
"Ok, if you say so..." Amara and Oskar said.
"That felt kinda embarrassing..." Athena said to herself.
"Huh, we already arrived?" Oskar said.
"This place is where Triton resides?" Athena said.
"Yeah, this very lake is where Triton resides and does his operations." Oskar said.
Suddenly the water started to shift as if something was about to emerge from the deep depths of the waters, and thus arose a mysterious figure equipped with a trident and landed on the ground.
The man before them soaked in water, was none other than their primary target of their mission, the Tempest...Triton...
"Why are such inferior and foolish insects are intruding before my territory?!" Triton exclaimed.
"You don't get to tell us what to do, douchebag." Athena said, preparing to draw her blade.
"Watch your harsh tongue woman, and I might not think twice before ending your life!" Triton said as he charged towards her.
Athena quickly uses her blade to block Triton's attack but the force that Triton uses was strong enough to knock her down.
"Now who will be the next to play with me?" Triton said sarcastically.
"You'll pay for this you sick bastard!" Oskar said charging towards Triton.
"Ho ho, you're persistent for a weakling." Triton said as he dodged Oskar's attack.
"You'll regret underestimating us!!!" Athena said as she used her ice powers to attack Triton.
"You're pretty good for yourself, but I'll end this immediately." Triton said as he charged towards Athena.
Both of them clashed their weapons with one another, dealing blow after blow.
"It seems like Athena and Triton are both equal when it comes to power level and combat." Amara said.
"Well it's best to say that this battle isn't ending anytime soon..." Oskar said as he prepared to make his fighting stance.
"Unfortunately for you, little pest you still haven't proven to me your worth unlike your friend over here." Triton stated mockingly.
Oskar had grown furious and grew tiresome of Triton's mockery as his anger got the better of him as he charged at him to Triton's surprise which almost sends Triton flying.
"HAHAHAHA" Triton laughed.
"Marvelous...marvelous!!!" Triton exclaimed.
"You're not bad after all, well then..." Triton stated as he prepared to threw a flurry of strikes towards Oskar using his trident.
"Come on, come on, the fun is just getting started!!!" Triton exclaimed as he continued to threw strikes at the exhausted Oskar.
"Enough is enough!!!" Athena exclaimed.
"Ice Frost..." Athena exclaimed, freezing not only the ground but also Triton himself.
Triton was stuck frozen and was unable to move from Athena's ice attack.
"That should take care of him..." Athena said as she sighed, feeling exhausted after dealing with Triton.
"Come on guys, we've done our part, let's go back before things start getting south..." Athena stated.
*All three of them left Triton's territory and walked down the path back to Elderith*
"I must say it was quite an experience for me." Amara said.
"Yeah, you're right about that one." Athena smiled.
"Well I guess that's the last we'll see of Triton..." Oskar stated.
"Mhm, honestly he was quite tiresome and I must admit he is strong as an enemy." Athena stated.
"Yeah but what really matters is that he has been dealt with." Amara said with reassurance.
"Yeah you're right..." Athena replied.
*All three of them eventually made their way back to Elderith where Creo is standing in front of them*
"Well well well..." Creo stated, clapping his hands.
"I must say I'm quite impressed, all three of you did a good job out there." Creo said with a smile as he rushed towards them.
"We're you seriously doubting on us?" Athena replied.
"Nah, I never doubted any of you guys." Creo said with a smile.
"Oh Creo, let's go out somewhere with the gang what do you say?" Athena replied.
"Sure come on let's go!" Creo said.
*Meanwhile back at Triton's territory where Triton is still frozen until suddenly footsteps can be heard approaching Triton's frozen body*
"My my, you too?" A mysterious voice said as they stood in front of Triton.
"Hmph, looks like I'll have to save you." The mysterious voice chuckled.
The mysterious person touched Triton's frozen body and suddenly shattered it as he touched it.
"Damn it, tell me what took you so long..." Triton said.
"Locke?!!" Triton exclaimed.
"Sorry dear Triton, I was still recovering after my battle with that girl from before." Locke said.
"Well if there's one thing we now know is to never underestimate that girl by ourselves..." Triton said.
"Well I have an idea..." Locke said.
"And that is?" Triton asked.
"How about the two of us go ahead and form an organization with the intention of eliminating that girl?" Locke asked.
"Hmph, although I don't fully agree yet, I must say that is a splendid idea you proposed." Triton stated.
"So are you in?" Locke asked.
"Hmph, I agree." Triton stated.
"Then let the great game begin..." Locke stated.
