Watching her swiftly walk away with her daughter, he eventually rushed forward and grabbed her.
"I'll take you," he insisted.
"No, thank you!" She pushed his hand away and continued walking, but he was unyielding. He forcefully pulled her back and shoved her into his car. Angry and frustrated, she held Josie and tried to get out, but he locked the door from the driver's seat with a click.
"Let us out!" She glared at him, clearly displeased. He, however, responded nonchalantly, tilting his head and looking at her with a serene expression.
"Why hasn't Wooden Drucker gotten you a car or a driver?"
She turned her head away, refusing to look at him, her tone self-deprecating with a hint of bitterness.
"Jonathan, don't be like this. I'm really not used to it. If you're going to take us, then hurry up. Otherwise, let us out to get a taxi ourselves!"
