Chapter - 5: Ice King

------------

The chapter was supposed to come out earlier, but in this heat I feel really shitty and couldn't write anything.

Anyway I made the first meme very funny and cool, hope you like it! XD

[Picture --> Meme]

Through the Omega Dimension portal, we finally arrived at Andros. The blinding light of the dimensional passage did not bother me as it gave way to a world immersed in water.

The portal closed behind us with a hiss. I emerged on the other side of the portal, finding ourselves on a small rocky patch amid an endless ocean, or perhaps it was better to say the infinite ocean since it was connected to all the other worlds in this universe.

The knowledge I had fortunately obtained from Valtor was already proving very useful, as it demonstrated my competence in my knowledge that would truly help me avoid being betrayed by the Trix.

The sky was a deep blue, and the air was warm and filled with exotic scents. Andros was magnificent, a world of beauty that could hardly be replicated by another world.

The air was saturated with magical energy, a power I couldn't wait to claim as my own. The Trix, by my side, observed the surrounding environment with attentive and curious eyes, which I couldn't blame them for, considering how beautiful it was.

Moreover, I clearly knew they also sensed the energy flowing in this place, albeit to a much lesser extent than I did. But they were still magical creatures that thrived on negative emotions.

A power I would not delay in claiming in the future, but for now, I wanted to focus on other things, which would allow me not to absorb too many powers that I couldn't use all at once to avoid going mad.

I approached the water, observing the vast horizon that seemed endless. Andros, with 90% of its surface covered in water, was rather monotonous in reality.

However, it could not be denied that it was a true spectacle for the eyes at least once in a lifetime, but I was more interested in the ocean stretching before us, boundless and deep, a vast treasure chest waiting to fall into my hands.

"Welcome to Andros, girls," I muttered, staring at the horizon with an intense and contemplative look. "This realm will be our home for a while, and it will play a significant role in my plans."

"Why?" Stormy asked me. "From what I remember, there isn't anything very important in this world that you can use to gain more power."

I turned towards the girls, noticing the doubt in their eyes. "You'll understand later, but for now, even just the dimensional portal of this world is something invaluable to me," I continued, my voice tone more determined.

"It was very clever to place it in the depths of the ocean. That way, they could transport criminals from different worlds much more easily, without drawing too much attention."

"You want to use it for your own purposes, don't you?" Icy asked with a big smile.

I didn't answer immediately and walked slowly along the shore. Immersing myself in the stormy sea and finally breathing the air of freedom after an indefinite amount of time, I smiled. "It seems we're getting a warm welcome."

Our eyes fell on the guardian mermaids emerging from the water who were marching towards us to confront us, clearly the portal had warned them of our arrival in this world.

[You don't exactly know how to describe it, but there is something about you that seems to automatically make all the girls who have had difficulties with their father figure feel at ease.]

I have to admit that it's not bad at all; I'd say it's a rather dominant advantage that I already like. I can already imagine several scenarios where this power could become extremely useful, especially when it comes to dealing with various problematic girls.

Many powerful girls in the vast multiverse often have some kind of issue with their father figure, which is something I can use to exert attraction and control over them, thus making it very easy to have potential allies at my service.

The figures of the guardian mermaids stand out against the ocean, armed with shimmering tridents and wrapped in violet armor that declares their rank. Their eyes show a will to protect their realm, but clearly, they are unaware of who they are facing.

"Look," exclaims Icy, with a mischievous smile. "The inhabitants of Andros have come to welcome us."

"We should be polite guests," adds Darcy, the sarcasm evident in her voice.

Stormy laughs, excited by the prospect of the impending battle. "Let them feel the true power of us sisters."

From what I've gathered, completing missions represents the most effective way to gain Pull. Each mission is generated with your desires and plans in mind, so in theory, I find myself at an important crossroads right now.

[Choose Your Path]

Hero's Path: Join the great heroes of the past in their extraordinary deeds to save multiple worlds from evil. Face epic challenges, forge alliances, and use your strength to restore peace and harmony. Become a living legend and leave your mark on history.

Anti-Hero Path: You are neither a hero nor a villain, but walk the fine line between good and evil. You will operate alone or with a few allies, maintaining a precarious balance between justice and vengeance. Your actions are ambiguous, guided by a sense of personal justice.

Villain's Path: Embrace power and declare yourself a villain. Commit a public crime against an entire planet to demonstrate your power. Sow fear and chaos, build a terror empire, and challenge the heroes of the universe. Every action you take will be a step towards total domination, making your name synonymous with fear and absolute power.

Reward:

A special extraction from a selection of items that changes depending on the chosen path.

Hm, I suppose the Hero's Path would grant me something a hero might use, and the same goes for the Anti-Hero and Villain paths. I get the reward in either case, so it doesn't push me in any particular direction.

Honestly, I was more interested in the latter two paths, as I didn't see myself as a hero at all. I had never dreamed of being a paladin of justice, a savior with a flowing cape, or a symbol of hope for the masses.

My inclination had always been towards the shadows, towards the less trodden and more treacherous paths, where the line between good and evil was blurred and uncertain.

The Hero's Path was too bright and idealistic for my tastes. In the past, I admired those who could dedicate themselves with such fervor to the cause of good, but I knew that kind of life wasn't for me.

My current view of the world was too complex and, perhaps, a bit cynical to fully embrace that ideal, and the memories of this body didn't help at all in this regard.

Moreover, I needed to start studying the tomes I had obtained. Only by doing so could I gain more "rolls"; I couldn't afford to be unprepared. I needed to arm myself with every possible tool to survive and thrive.

The thought of having more "rolls" meant having more resources at my disposal, more opportunities to adapt and respond to the challenges that awaited me. It wasn't just a matter of power; after all, ignorance and weakness were unforgiven.

Huh, but it was honestly nice to know that I would be rewarded for my efforts, beyond just mastering the spells of my Tomes to become stronger. But all that was for later; first and foremost, I simply needed a place where I could rest and leave decisions like these to my future self, as I had other things to focus on at the moment.

I approach the mermaids, showing no sign of fear or hesitation. "I'm sorry, but I hate being interrupted when I'm thinking about what to eat later," I say with a disdainful smile. My voice rings out loudly, an echo that travels through the waves.

The mermaids advance, tridents ready for attack, but I am already a step ahead of them. I raise my hands and summon my ice grimoire, and naturally, I harness the power I had gained in the icy cold of the Omega Dimension to its fullest extent.

The air around us suddenly chills, creating a palpable tension. "Fury of the Black Tortoise/Genbu!" I declare, feeling the power flow through my veins. A massive and devastating wave of ice crashes down on the mermaids, enveloping them in a lethal grip.

Their movements slow, their bodies stiffen, and within moments, the sea before me transforms into a field of ice statues, each one frozen in its last act of defiance against me.

I approach one of the statues, admiring my work. The guardian mermaid was frozen in an attacking pose, the trident raised uselessly towards me, which was truly a pathetic sight to behold.

With a decisive movement, I place my hand on the chest of one of the frozen mermaids and begin to absorb her power to comfortably live on this planet and then delve into the depths of this world and the mysterious secrets it hides.

Magic flows through me, a river of energy merging with my own power, which, as always, is a sensation I cannot do without. I feel my attributes changing, my strength increasing, and my connection to the ocean becoming a part of me.

The transformation is slow and much less dramatic compared to the previous one. It begins with a slight tingling on my skin, a strange but not unpleasant sensation. Gradually, the tingling intensifies, and my arms start to change, becoming rougher and covered in shiny scales.

These scales emerge like small gems, shining in hues of blue and green that catch every ray of light, reflecting them in a thousand different directions. As the process continues, I feel a pressure around my neck.

It's as if something is pushing outward, and I realize that it's the gills forming. The gills slowly appear, opening like small fans and adapting to my new anatomy.

My hands transform, the fingers becoming slightly longer and more tapered, with thin membranes sprouting between them. I feel a new strength in my arms and legs, as if I could sprout a siren's tail at any moment.

The change extends throughout my body. My skin, now covered in scales, becomes more resilient and flexible. My breathing adjusts to the new rhythm imposed by the gills, and I feel a connection with this new form.

I observe my body with care, as a murmur escapes my lips: "15-17% huh? Not bad. I just need to acquire the power of the triton and the guardian of this world, and then I doubt anyone will have the strength to stop me."

The Osmonians were undoubtedly a powerful race, but they had two major problems that could not be resolved but only mitigated, no matter how much you trained with your gift.

The first problem was that absorbing too much power risked losing control, and it wasn't easy to return to normal. The second was that if the desired power wasn't fully drained, you only obtained a small percentage of the actual power.

The Trix watched in silence, their eyes filled with admiration and fear. They sensed my transformation, and from their eyes, it was clear that they were beginning to understand my Osmonian powers.

But this was not a problem; in fact, I could hardly wait for them to seek my favor and bring magical creatures to my feet to absorb their powers so that I wouldn't even have to bother doing it myself.

Indeed, all the villains in this universe seemed to be complete fools, with an ego disproportionate to their actual power. They were even incapable of exploiting teenage girls who could be easily dominated with simple compliments and a pat on the head, acknowledging their worth.

"This is just the beginning," I say with a decisive tone that leaves no room for doubt. "Andros will be an excellent starting point for us. From here, we can expand our horizons and plan our next moves. Nothing will stop us on the path I have chosen."

I turn towards the sea, feeling the pulsing energy beneath the surface. With a simple wave of my hand, the waters respond, rising in waves that crash against the shore.

My control over the element is still limited, a simple low-level hydrokinesis, but it represents a demonstration of my new power, destined to grow over time. The wind carries away my words, as my thirst for power grows in intensity, fueled by the magic flowing more and more within me, ready to be unleashed to show what I truly am.

"Let's get ready," I finally say, turning to my current allies. "Our entry into Andros is just the beginning, and the entire universe must brace itself for what's coming. No one will be safe from me."

The Trix nod, ready to follow me, clearly I had made a good impression on them. For now, they didn't seem hesitant to follow my orders, and I would certainly take advantage of this.

With one last glance at the frozen mermaids, I start walking in the direction of Andros, as it was time to set up a base, get a well-deserved rest, and try to adjust to the powers I had acquired...

[The Warrior Xenomorph is a powerful and menacing form of Xenomorph, known for its exceptional physical strength and combat skills. This alien is a robust creature, characterized by an exoskeletal armor that makes it nearly impervious and deadly claws that kill at your command.]

I could only fervently hope that the people back home, those responsible for my current situation, were still alive. Those who had orchestrated everything—I couldn't wait to see them again to show how happy I was to see them.

But more importantly, I wanted to make sure that the few survivors of the Reach had not increased. They were the ones, with their machinations and intrigues, who had forever changed the course of my life.

They were as cunning and sneaky as true rats, and for that, they all deserved to die. I didn't care if doing so meant exterminating an entire race; in fact, if I had to be completely honest, I was quite happy to do so.

Thinking about all this, I couldn't help but reflect on the world I came from, or at least on the memories embedded in the body I now inhabited. It was a world that seemed like a fusion between the DC Comics universe and Ben 10.

For this reason, I couldn't wait to return home. I just needed to wait a bit longer to accumulate enough power so I wouldn't be the weak link in that universe.

After all, there were too many powerful threats that I wouldn't be able to face even at my full strength. Therefore, there was no need to rush things; I could take my time.

And as if that wasn't enough, I continued to hear a voice deep in my mind, urging me to find a way to access that world and absorb every power I encountered along the way.

If only I could touch the Omnitrix...

No, better not to think about it.

My ice grimoire appears once again beside me, floating in the air with an aura of frost. Its pages begin to flip at high speed, as if turned by an invisible force, until they stop on the desired spell.

With a firm and decisive voice, I pronounce the words, "Albion's Frostbound Castle." Immediately, I feel a cold and intense energy radiating from the grimoire, and for the first time since I woke up, I experience a slight fatigue.

The ground in front of me starts to tremble as ice and snow materialize out of nowhere, forming intricate and majestic structures. Within moments, a massive ice castle takes shape before my eyes.

The construction process is like an elegant dance: each snowflake and shard of ice joins together with precision and grace, creating a work of extraordinary beauty.

The first element to materialize is the base, a vast platform of transparent ice, solid as rock yet gleaming like crystal. From there, columns of ice begin to emerge from the ground.

These columns form the supporting pillars of the castle, each adorned with intricate details that somewhat remind me of my old world. The towers rise next, their tops crowned with pointed spires that challenge the sky.

The castle walls rise between the pillars, layer by layer, as if Michelangelo himself had returned to life and was sculpting a masterpiece directly from ice.

The imposing walls are thick and translucent, revealing within shadows of grand halls and corridors. Gigantic arches supported by elegant buttresses frame monumental doors, also carved with fine details.

The tall and majestic ice doors open with a deep rumble, revealing an imposing entrance that seems to invite me to take my place on the throne.

I approach the castle, each step echoing on the solid ice beneath my feet. The translucent walls reveal shades of blue and white, creating an atmosphere that suits me perfectly.

With a smile, I cross the threshold of the ice castle, followed by the girls who watch me with wonder. After all, every woman has dreamed of living in a castle, and now we had the opportunity to experience that dream.

Seeing that Darcy seemed eager to seek my favor, she decided to bring up the topic of teamwork by tacit agreement. "So, Maxwell. What are your plans after escaping from Dimension Omega?"

"I suppose," I mused aloud, "that before returning to my universe, I want to reclaim my old strength. After that, I will seek justice for everything that has been done to me."

"What about formalizing our alliance?" Darcy suggested with a determined look as we stood before the throne room. "In exchange, you could help us become even stronger."

Not responding immediately, I stepped forward and took my seat on the ice throne before me. "More power, in what sense? If you're referring to my mark, you'll first need to adjust your bodies to what I've bestowed upon you."

Darcy shook her head, indicating that wasn't what she meant. "No, it's not just the power you've given us. We know of something that will grant you unimaginable power."

I couldn't help but let a smile spread across my face. "Really?" I said, resting my chin on my hand. "I'd be happy to hear what my beautiful witches have to say, but since you haven't taken the initiative on your own, it shouldn't be so easy to claim."

Icy and Stormy seemed quite pleased with my compliments, a faint blush coloring their cheeks and making them even more endearing. I found myself more than ever tempted to take all three sisters for myself.

"Yes, that's true. But we specifically need you," Darcy explained, her tone flirtatious. She began to tell me everything she knew about the Kingdom of Relix and its connections. I must admit, it was a good way to refresh my memory.

"Interesting," I commented, reflecting on all the information at my disposal. Becoming even stronger was never a bad thing, but I needed to proceed with caution and not cross certain lines.

"So, how can we obtain this Relix you speak of?" I asked, deliberately concealing how much I knew in order to make the most of the situation.
