Regarding my Discord server, it's not very lively at the moment, but if anyone has interesting ideas for the story or wants to ask questions, I'm here to answer.

However, I should warn you that right now I'm quite immersed in Elden Ring and spending a lot of time playing it, so if I don't respond immediately, it's because I'm having fun playing.

And you? Are you also playing the new DLC or the game in general?

Chapter - 8: Voracious Instinct

Spell Learned

[Marici Stealth Tantra]

[The Marici Stealth Tantra is a high-level stealth technique that disguises the user's presence to the extent even another trained practitioner wouldn't be able to sense them approach]

It was pretty obvious that I was focusing on Onmyōdō arts, but how could I not when it had an enchantment like that which would only increase my battle strength? It was simply too tempting to ignore.

From the information received from the Tome, Stealth Magic was a First-Class magic that allows its users to move unseen in the presence of others, which was a good card to play in any situation.

And in that universe, it was recognized for its utility, allowing a practitioner to move and follow targets without being detected, as if you were a trained assassin from childhood.

The trick to using it is said to be to erase one's own self-awareness to blend into the surrounding environment and exploit gaps in enemies' perceptions.

I could slip unnoticed into the most protected worlds, gather vital information without being discovered, and neutralize my opponents before they even realized my presence, all without unnecessary bloodshed.

It can also be used to hide objects or charms in preparation for a spell, which was really a good thing if you wanted to use a combined magic or something like that.

So I already had a possible combination to use against a strong opponent that would give me the time needed to use my stronger spells, putting me in an advantageous position.

Not only were there a variety of different stealth techniques, from those that obscure vision to others that divert attention away from the user, but the effectiveness of these techniques also depends on the caster and those around them.

So essentially, it was a spell I could personalize in the future, with enough time on my side, to make it perfect for my specific needs.

I had several advantages, which were by no means to be underestimated, and this gave me considerable confidence in my abilities. Moreover, with this spell combined with the natural abilities I had gained from the Xenomorph, I could say without a shadow of a doubt that no one would ever beat me in a hunt.

This would allow me to achieve my goal of draining magical creatures much more simply and efficiently, as I now had the necessary tools to face any challenge with extreme ease.

This would put me in a position of great advantage, which honestly I didn't mind at all since I was still far from reaching my ultimate goal.

With a delicate gesture, I placed the grimoire I was reading on the armrest of my imposing throne. As I did so, my eyes fell upon the beautiful witches who, one after another, crossed the threshold of the hall with sinuous and sensual movements, highlighting their full figures that surely caught my gaze.

I fully raised my gaze to this spectacle and watched my enchanting witches approach my throne. I couldn't help but imagine them in hareem attire, considering that even their current garments barely grazed decency, accentuating their curves in an irresistible manner.

They were clearly trying to seduce me, each movement calculated to capture my attention and earn my approval. These witches were not only beautiful but also determined to achieve their goals.

Every gesture and every glance clearly demonstrated that, despite appearances, they were much more intelligent than they let on. And this alone proved that I had done well to focus on their value and potential for me and my plans.

"I'm pleased to see that you are always up to my greatest expectations," I said, my tone a mix of admiration and authority. "You are truly enchanting."

"The bed could have been more comfortable, but I understand that circumstances do not allow for it," Icy remarked, with a velvety tone. "Moreover, every time I see you, I can't help but think that that throne suits you perfectly."

"Since the rulers of this world have not come forward to fight, I decided that it was more than fine," I replied with disgust, observing the reactions of my witches. "If they don't have the courage to confront us, we have no choice but to proceed without hesitation."

Darcy displayed a smile that betrayed a hint of cruelty. "Remarkable as always; after all, you managed to demonstrate your clear power to them," she said with a note of satisfaction in her voice. "Those small fish had no chance against us. And they got exactly what they deserved."

"They truly can do nothing but be pathetic," Stormy continued, her eyes burning with scorn and disdain. "They had no idea who they were up against."

I found myself staring comfortably at the Trix until, at some point, a feeling of deep and almost instinctive hatred for them began to haunt my soul. It was not a hatred justified by any particular offense or wrong suffered.

It was a more visceral, primal feeling that nestled deep within my consciousness. They had just entered my territory, an alien and invasive presence that should not have been here.

Their indifference, their lightness in moving as if the place had been created solely for them, only fueled the deep hum resonating in my chest, an incessant echo of hatred that I couldn't control.

I didn't hate those girls for something they had done or said, because truth be told, they hadn't done anything significant to provoke me. I hated what they represented. Their very difference was unbearable to me.

They were something inferior to me...

It was as if we belonged to completely different species. They were human, or at least they looked like humans, even though I knew clearly they could be considered magical creatures.

But I didn't care. I was something different, superior to them, and they should tremble at my mere presence. Especially with all the power I felt coursing through me, but it wasn't enough; I wanted much more.

I had acquired extraordinary abilities, and this had elevated me above others. Their presence was a blemish in my vision of the world, a world where I ruled unchallenged.

I emitted an involuntary growl/hiss that even surprised me as I came out of that loop of instinctual hatred. The animalistic sound I had produced brought me back to reality for a moment, reminding me exactly who I was.

I closed my eyes and forced myself to calm down, knowing that I shouldn't kill them, even though my instincts told me I needed to. The battle within me was fierce, a conflict between reason and the bestial impulse that wanted to take over.

With the various DNAs I had absorbed, I could no longer define myself as either human or Osmonian, and now all of this was beginning to manifest in the worst ways.

The cells within me were rebelling, trying to adapt to the new reality, and this biological chaos was also affecting my mind. However, I wouldn't let my instincts overwhelm me so easily. I was determined to maintain control, not to let these new parts of me define who I truly was.

It was clear that this hatred stemmed from my most recent absorption. I had acquired extraordinary powers and abilities, but along with them came feelings and impulses that didn't belong to me.

The DNA I had assimilated was not just an advantage but also a burden I had to live with, and I had to be careful not to let it surpass a certain limit. Anger, hatred, the sense of superiority—these were all remnants of the Xenomorph from which I had gained my powers.

It confused my mind, making it more animalistic. Honestly, it terrified me to death. However, it didn't stop me from my goal; it was merely a warning to be more cautious, so that such a situation wouldn't hinder me.

Well, does this explain the hatred I felt towards everything that isn't like me? Probably yes. I am no longer a human, and this fact had to be absolutely understood by me.

I had minimized this fact, pretending that I was exactly the same person with powers, but the reality was that I was very different. My nature had transformed, and now I was facing the consequences of my inadequacy.

From the instinctive reactions towards other species, I could tell that I was at a point of no return. But I had to admit that if it hadn't been for the memories I received from this body, I would have long surpassed the point of no return.

These memories of another self were my anchor, as I had had an entire life to use this gift of mine. Moreover, they reminded me of what I had lost, and gave me the strength to resist the impulses that threatened to overwhelm me.

So understanding well that things were slipping out of my control and that was why I let myself go, if I had learned anything from my memories, it was that the more I suppressed my instincts, in the end, they would consume me from the inside.

For this reason, I decided to give free rein to my Xenomorph nature, just enough to try to acclimate as much as possible while waiting for my body to adapt completely.

I felt my muscles vibrating and my bones beginning to pulse as something moved beneath my skin, merging with the deep layers. It was as if an armor was forming beneath my skin, undoubtedly due to my Xenomorph heritage.

A wave of heat coursed through me, and I felt my muscles reorganizing in a way that was relaxing rather than painful as one might expect. I felt my bones slowly expanding and thickening, a stranger sensation than painful, before everything stopped and a new wave of enriched blood flowed within me.

Physically, I hadn't changed much since I had chosen to act more subtly, ensuring that the transformation affected only the internal part of my body. I wasn't as strong compared to a full form, but it certainly had its advantages that shouldn't be underestimated.

What I felt change, however, was my mentality. As if my mind were a wooden shack that would be swept away by the slightest horror or inconvenience, but after this calibration, it was now made of more resilient wood.

I felt more determined. Slightly more balanced. But I also felt the usual latent fury inside me. It was just more controlled. I felt I could release some of that hatred and anger and actually manage to control myself.

This was more than fine for the moment, at least. I also felt that if I let out all my hatred and killing intent, I would gain an increase in my power, but it was not something I was interested in.

Good~~

After several uninterrupted seconds—lucky me—I felt my muscles stabilize in new ways, becoming stronger and more effective in their function, which brought me to a new level of strength.

I flexed my hand and did a little stretching, feeling creaks and pops resonating through my body as I let out a satisfied laugh. At least in this way, I doubted I could seriously be injured.

Ahh~ The progress in strength is truly an incredible feeling. Now I understand why everyone in Baki keeps training and fighting to become stronger. It's so intoxicating that you couldn't even imagine it unless you experience it yourself.

Feeling that now was the best time, I closed my state and released some of the latent anger in my mind. Immediately, an explosion of energy filled me, signaling that I had started releasing adrenaline into my body.

Something snapped inside me, and I let out a growl before laughing, 'Well... isn't it a nice feeling?' I thought, while ignoring the looks my little witches were giving me.

I felt infinite power in every muscle and was ready to test just how infinite it really was, but for now, I decided to wait since I had tested my current state sufficiently.

Even if I thought otherwise, I saw no one near me to test my strength against. At least until some small fairies decided to pay me a visit, or at least one in particular since she was the princess of this planet.

I looked forward to meeting her and seeing if she could maintain that challenging and determined attitude towards me as she had shown in the series more than once.

And then, one should never refuse a dark beauty who willingly comes to meet you, right? After all, I considered myself a perfect gentleman, someone truly good at pleasing a woman.

I was truly in excellent shape in the end, and even though I didn't have the necessary stats in Power or Control to face an army, my healing factor gave me practically unlimited resistance and any injury I sustained healed within seconds.

I slowly stood up, the cold of the throne giving way to a determined warmth that coursed through my veins. "Follow me, girls," I said in a low but firm voice, the sound bouncing off the ice walls, amplifying. I gestured with my hand, an imperious motion inviting them to follow me.

Icy, Darcy, and Stormy moved in unison, their confident steps echoing through the grand hall. I turned and began descending the spiral staircase that led to the lower levels of my castle.

The ice stairs sparkled faintly in the torchlight, each step decisive and firm as this would be my first move in this universe.

We descended in silence, the only sounds being our breaths and the rustle of the wind. Each step brought us closer to the heart of the castle, to the place where I had decided to keep the interdimensional portal.

It was truly something too precious for me, allowing me to go to any world of my choosing without anyone being able to prevent it in any way. Something like that, of course, had to be well guarded.

We finally arrived in front of a massive ice door, decorated with ancient symbols imbued with magical power. With a wave of my hand, the door slowly opened, revealing the portal room.

The interdimensional portal crackled with magical energy, its edges glittering and unstable. Its core pulsed with a light that promised a worthy banquet for a me.

"So why are we here?" Stormy asked, with a curious tone that didn't surprise me at all, given that I had already sensed her personality.

"Simply, I don't like to stay on the defensive. Instead of waiting for a future attack from this world, I decided to adopt a more aggressive strategy," I said with evident confidence oozing from my lips.

"And thanks to your character, you've managed to turn this place into your domain. You've left the Omega dimension behind to reach the interdimensional portal," Darcy said, while leaning against me, sensually rubbing against me.

I smiled at her words. She was indeed good with words, and I couldn't help but reach out and caress her cheek, while the smile that appeared on her face made her even cuter than usual.

Her sisters looked at her with evident envy, but I didn't want to repeat their mistake, so I gently stroked their hair, giving them just enough attention not to betray me.

"My vision of the future will take us far from here. Everything will have its time. I've waited a long time, but soon everything will change. Imprisonment has weakened me, but when I am powerful again, I will have everything that has been taken from me, and with this portal, we will travel through all dimensions."

"Seems like a plan worthy of you," Icy complimented, which I welcomed, seeing the admiration in her eyes.

"Yes, rest assured, we will make sure to fulfill your vision of the future," Darcy added with determination.

"You don't realize it yet, but all the magic from those worlds will be mine. I will be the final judge, and I won't allow anyone to take away what I consider important to myself."

"You are already very powerful," Icy told me, while I held back a laugh, knowing that she hadn't yet seen all my potential.

"But not enough. To be even stronger, I need to absorb the power of various magical creatures throughout the universe," I clarified my main goal. They needed to understand my point of view to act accordingly.

With a simple movement of my hand, I summoned a hologram of the entire magical universe, with some worlds clearer than others, referencing the memories I had absorbed from Valtor.

"That's why I need you to go on a short hunting trip and bring me the most interesting magical creatures you find in Magix."

"So you need us to hunt some beasts?" Icy said with ease. "It sounds stupidly easy. What do you think, sisters?"

"Consider it done!" Stormy declared with enthusiasm.

"We'll do our best to meet your expectations," Darcy added with a confident smile.

"I knew I could count on my beautiful witches," I said as I paused in front of the portal and turned to face the Trix. "Are you ready?" I asked, a smile growing ever wider on my face.

Icy's blue eyes sparkled with anticipation. Darcy and Stormy nodded with determination, their enthusiasm palpable, clearly eager to prove themselves.

"We were born ready," Stormy replied, a spark of electricity dancing between her hands, much stronger than before.

Icy approached the portal, her presence dominating the air around us. With a decisive gesture, she raised her hand and touched the blazing surface of the portal. A surge of energy ran through her arm, but she did not falter.

"Let's go," she said, and without further hesitation, stepped into the radiant vortex.

Immediately, the world around them shifted. They were enveloped in a whirlwind of colors and sounds as the portal pulled them through the entire magical dimension. I could sense that they wouldn't disappoint me, given their familiarity with magical creatures.

The Trix's figures receded, growing smaller until they vanished completely beyond the horizon of this new world. With a sigh, I turned away, leaving the portal behind, knowing that I couldn't afford to linger in the moment.

I was ready to play my part in supporting them from afar, waiting for the right moment to act. And naturally, it was time to do a bit of fishing, considering the powerful creatures living beneath my feet.
