Kael's face hardened and a chill pervaded the room as he stared at the man who had dared to speak to him in such a way.
He stood up and the warriors in the room stood at alert, ready to move into action.
Kael walked down from the throne and approached the man and roared, "You are courting your death old man."
Then he suddenly started laughing and he pulled the man in for a hug while everyone present stiffened in shock and confusion as to what was going on.
They had been ready to attack and now the king was hugging the man who had just disrespected him? Maybe he was an old acquaintance.
"Kael The Lycan King." The old man said proudly and scrutinized Kael from head to toe the way that an indulgent uncle would. "I see you are walking now."
