The next day, Leon woke up early and began to recall what had happened the previous night.
"Alice, what kind of language is this? Can you decipher these?" Leon asked, examining the ten ancient words.
Alice's sleepy voice echoed in his head, "Little master, that is an ancient, lost language—the dragon language. Even I can't decipher this ancient text. I need to rest for a while to recover my strength."
Leon didn't press her further because he knew Alice had been sealed for an unknown number of years and needed time to regain her power.
"By the way, little master, I left a gift for you. Open it when you go to sleep. Okay, bye." Alice's voice faded as she went to sleep.
Leon's face lit up with surprise and excitement. "Let's see what the gift is."
He opened his drawer and found a blue jade slip. Understanding Alice's words, he thought, "So it's a memory slip. No wonder she told me to use it when I go to sleep."
"I'll use it tonight. I hope it contains some special technique." Leon thought, closing the drawer.
Leon was happy because most memory slips contained important life experiences of great experts. Only these experts could extract specific memories and seal them in special jade slips for their future heirs. Memory jades were considered top secrets among noble clans.
As he was stretching, the door to the room opened, and a red-haired young maid entered with a tray in her hands. Leon recognized her immediately; she had been his personal maid since his birth. Lily, now 16 years old, carried a cheerful smile.
"Good morning, young master. Here is your milk," Lily said, handing him a glass of milk. This wasn't ordinary milk but from a magical beast, known for its body-strengthening properties, making it a staple for noble family children.
Leon took a sip, thinking, "Mother's milk tastes better." He drank it all and handed the empty glass back to Lily.
"Sister Lily, you look beautiful again today," Leon said with an innocent face.
Lily's face turned red at Leon's teasing. Her voice became shy, "Young master, you're teasing me again."
Leon grinned as she quickly changed the topic, "Young master, you have a sword training class today." She left the room in a hurry.
"This silly little girl," Leon thought with a smile. Teasing Lily had become a daily hobby for him.
Activating his Eyes of Darkmoon, Leon looked at the right side of the room and said with a smile, "Sister Karen, you should stop covering your beautiful face."
A dark figure emerged from the shadows. It was Lady Karen, the first disciple of Madam Salena. She specialized in assassination and wielded the rare space element.
"Young master, why do you always tease Lily like that?" asked Lady Karen as she removed her black mask, revealing her beautiful purple eyes, eyebrows, and lips.
Leon gave her a thumbs-up and said, "Sister Karen, you look as beautiful as always."
Karen smiled and pinched his cheeks, "Young master, you should stop with your flowery words. You have a sword class now."
Leon rubbed his cheek and said, "I can easily complete all of Captain Alex's tasks. Today, I want to try something new."
"Oh, then I will watch from the shadows," said Lady Karen as she disappeared.
"Space magic is so cool," Leon thought.
"Today, I will try to create Ryomen Sukuna's magic," Leon said aloud and headed to the bathroom.
Later, at the Mansion's Training Grounds
A young boy in light clothes swung a huge wooden sword with perfect coordination. The young boy was none other than Leon Darkmoon.
Leon finally stopped, drenched in sweat. He looked at a man in an army suit and complained, "Why is the sword 30 kilograms heavier?"
The middle-aged man in the army suit, Captain Alex, was in charge of the mansion's security.
Captain Alex smiled and replied, "Young master, I got orders from Lady Frey to increase your martial training."
"Aunt Frey," Leon exclaimed loudly, a mix of fear and respect in his voice. Among his family, he only feared his Aunt Frey, a martial arts addict who tortured Leon with her rigorous training methods.
Captain Alex smiled at his young master's reaction, knowing that only Lady Frey could make the confident Leon lose his nerve.
"Young master, today's training tasks are all increased by 30 percent. These are also Lady Frey's orders," said Captain Alex.
"Aunt Frey, do you want me to die?" Leon roared angrily and began running around the training grounds.
Captain Alex, Butler Joe, and even Lily smiled. Lady Karen, watching from the shadows, also had a small smile on her lips.
After two hours, Leon completed all his tasks and collapsed on the ground, panting heavily.
Captain Alex approached and said with a smile, "Young master, today's class is complete. I can submit the report to Lady Frey." Leon didn't have the strength to argue.
Lily quickly came to his side and began to wipe his face with a handkerchief. "Young master, don't stress your body so much," she said with concern.
"Hehe, it seems sister Lily worries about me. It makes me so happy," Leon said, holding Lily's hand with his small hands.
Lily's face turned red immediately. She pulled her hand back and ran off as if she'd been startled. "Young master, quickly come to the dining hall. Breakfast is ready," she called out.
Leon smiled and stood up, stretching his body lightly. He picked up the heavy wooden sword made from Iron Wood.
Seeing Leon's actions, Captain Alex asked curiously, "Young master, what are you doing?"
Leon smiled and said, "I want to try something." He moved towards the large trees.
"Sister Karen, you should watch this," Leon shouted loudly.
He closed his eyes and concentrated on his mana control. Soon, the entire wooden sword was enveloped in his mana.
He swung his wooden sword at a large tree, releasing a white slash that cut the tree in half, causing it to fall to the ground.
boom
Captain Alex observed the scene with little reaction, as there was nothing extraordinary about it. This technique was a basic one, where a warrior uses mana to cover their weapons, enhancing their strength.
"I'm not done yet," Leon said as he placed the wooden sword on the ground. He extended his palm and closed his eyes.
Captain Alex and Lady Karen looked at him curiously. Suddenly, their expressions turned serious as a shocking mana wave emanated from Leon's palm.
Leon closed three fingers and pointed the remaining two outward. He opened his eyes, waved his palm slowly, and muttered, "Cleave."
His hand returned to rest, and his face turned pale. He panted heavily.
Captain Alex looked confused. "Young master, what happened?" he asked doubtfully.
Leon shook his head and said, "Nothing, the test went better than I thought. I'm a little hungry. I'll go back now." He began walking towards the mansion.
Lady Karen suddenly appeared at the spot where Leon had stood, her face showing shock.
"What happened here?" Captain Alex asked, confusion etched on his face.
Karen came to her senses and swung her hand, causing a gentle breeze to ripple through the trees.
Thud.
Thud.
Thud.
One by one, the trees began to fall, nearly twenty in total.
Captain Alex wiped the sweat off his brow and muttered, "The young master is a genius for a reason."
