Chapter 10 - CHAPTER - 10 [Opening the Memory Jade]

Leon's day passed swiftly, filled with training, studying, teasing Lily, and devouring ancient knowledge books.

Butler Joe and the others marveled at Leon's behavior. After all, it wasn't typical for a four-year-old to be so diligent and studious.

"Goodnight, young master," said Maid Lily to Leon as the evening set in.

"Goodnight, young master," echoed Lady Karen's sweet voice through the hall.

"Goodnight, Sister Lily. Goodnight, Sister Karen," Leon replied with a smile, heading to his room.

Once inside, he shut the door and took the memory jade from his desk.

"It's time to use this," he thought as he sat on his bed. Biting his finger, he let a drop of blood fall onto the jade. The blue slip turned red, disintegrating into blue mist that enveloped him.

"Ahhh, it's painful!" Leon shouted as he lost consciousness. The blue mist absorbed into his body completely. The process of using a memory slip was notoriously painful since it involved assimilating another's memories while maintaining one's own personality. Thus, memory slips were highly valued as tools for inheritance.

Leon fell into a deep sleep with a pained expression. Unbeknownst to him, a new, strange circulation technique began to work within his body, drawing mana from the surroundings.

The next morning, the sun was already high, yet Leon remained in bed.

In the main hall of the mansion, a beautiful blonde-haired lady clad in cold-plated armor stood with a noble, heroic aura. She was Leon's aunt, Fray Darkmoon, a formidable warrior commanding millions of soldiers.

"Greetings, Lady Fray," Butler Joe greeted her with a bow.

Lady Fray nodded curtly, "Butler, where is he? Why isn't he in the training grounds?" Her voice held a tinge of annoyance, as her nephew was missing from his training.

Butler Joe smiled nervously, "Lady Fray, the young master is still sleeping. We dared not disturb him." He abided by Leon's mother's rule that no one should disturb Leon's rest.

"That brat is still sleeping knowing I was coming to visit, huh? This will be fun," Lady Fray smiled mischievously as she made her way to Leon's bedroom.

Butler Joe wiped the sweat from his forehead, thinking, "Young master, I can't help you with this." He knew Lady Fray's temperament well. As the single-handed commander of millions, she was feared by all except Leon's mother, her best friend.

Outside Leon's room, Maid Lily was anxious. She knew the consequences of skipping Lady Fray's training. Her worst fears came true when she saw Lady Fray approaching.

"Greetings, Lady Fray," Maid Lily bowed respectfully.

Lady Fray nodded, "Hey Lily, why hasn't he woken up yet?"

"Lady Fray, the young master completes your tasks every day. I don't know why he didn't wake up today; maybe he's tired from yesterday's increased training," Lily replied, not daring to meet Lady Fray's eyes.

"Ha! No need to cover for that brat," Lady Fray laughed lightly as she opened Leon's door.

"Leon!" she shouted, rushing to his side. Leon's body was covered in a dark red substance, and his bed was soaked in sweat, filling the room with a foul smell.

Ignoring the mess, she quickly placed her hand on Leon's chest to check him.

The usually cold and noble Lady Fray's face was now filled with worry.

Hearing her shout, Maid Lily, Butler Joe, and Captain Alex hurried towards the room.

Lady Karen appeared beside Lady Fray, her expression equally worried. She bit her lip and asked, "Senior Fray, what happened to him? How is he?"

Lady Fray didn't respond immediately, focusing on Leon. Soon, the worry faded from her face, replaced by a smile.

Leon, feeling a gentle, cold touch on his stomach, opened his sleepy eyes to see his beautiful aunt's face.

"Aunt, let me sleep. I'm very tired," Leon murmured in his childish voice, closing his eyes again.

Hearing Leon's words, both Lady Fray and Lady Karen were relieved.

Lady Fray smiled, pinching his cheek hard, "Little brat, check yourself first. You smell like a pig."

"Ahh," Leon screamed, waking up from the pain. He rubbed his cheek, "Aunt, you're so cruel to your nephew."

Lady Fray smiled and pointed at his bed, "Check your body, little brat. You stink." She covered her nose dramatically.

Suspiciously, Leon looked at her, then at Lady Karen, who was also covering her nose. Turning his gaze to his hands, he saw he was covered in a stinky, dark red liquid. "Ahh, it really stinks," he exclaimed, running into the bathroom.

"Heh heh," Lady Fray chuckled at his reaction.

She looked at Lily and commanded, "Lily, clean this room." She left, still chuckling.

Lily entered the room with her nose covered, asking, "Sister Karen, why is it so smelly here?"

"Young master seems to have had a breakthrough in his martial training," Lady Karen said before disappearing.

Maid Lily, without asking further questions, began cleaning the room.

Inside the bathroom, Leon discarded his clothes and stepped into the bathtub.

"Alice, when you wake up, I will settle the score with you! What was she thinking, giving me those techniques and memories? Well, most of them are the founding ancestor's memories. My ancestor is truly great; he had such a big harem," Leon thought, soaking in the water.

"I can't believe how the founding ancestor made those techniques, but he didn't have the imagination of perverts from my world. But these techniques are comparable to them. Maybe I should try them once," Leon mused, a sly smile forming on his face.

"But thanks to the memory slip, I awakened the second level of the Eyes of Darkmoon and also opened my martial heart," Leon smiled faintly, satisfied with his gains.

"I should go and meet my aunt quickly; if I'm late, she will definitely beat me." Remembering his aunt, Leon began washing quickly.

After dressing neatly, he walked to the main hall. There, his beautiful aunt, clad in her battle armor, was drinking tea.

Leon approached with a sweet smile, "Aunt, why do you always come here in your battle armor?"

Lady Fray didn't answer directly but smiled, "Little brat, you seem to have improved greatly."

Leon scratched his head, "Aunt, I was just lucky to awaken the second level of the Eyes of Darkmoon and open my martial heart. It seems I am truly lucky this time."

Lady Fray stood up, eyeing him like he was a rare specimen, "Quickly, activate your eyes," she said seriously.

Leon nodded, activating his Eyes of Darkmoon. Dark crescent moons formed in his silver eyes, emitting a dark glow.

"Lunar Harmony Vision," Leon muttered, and his eyes shifted to a dark silver.

The dark silver light fell on Lady Fray, making her body appear transparent.

"Aunt, your body—" Leon began, but Lady Fray interrupted him.

"Little brat, don't speak. I know my body condition," she said calmly, sipping her tea.

Leon shut his mouth, diverting his question, "Aunt, where is Sister Karen?"

"I sent her back to her family. Since I'm here, why do you need others' protection?" Lady Fray replied proudly.

"Yes, yes, my great aunt is the most powerful person. Even dragons have to bow before her," Leon flattered her.

Lady Fray smiled, "Little brat, I want to see how much your strength has increased."

Seeing her smile, Leon felt a chill down his spine. He quickly said, "Aunt, can't you turn a blind eye now? I haven't eaten anything yet."

"No," she shook her head, lifting Leon effortlessly with one hand and carrying him to the training grounds.
