The streets of Suicide City were very long, with multitudes of skyscrapers spreading into the distance as far as the eyes could see.
Hundreds of cleaner robots moved around the streets, Vacuums, and different technological equipment in their grasp as they moved around the area all focused on their programming which is getting rid of any anomaly in the area.
As Jack walked through the streets, he got quite the looks and nods from the people passing due to his dressing.
It was really a good illustration of how you're dressed are you addressed.
He also raised his hands with a warm smile on his face to any person who waved to him or commented on him.
Being a death soldier, the ability to adapt was one of the top three most important tools of perfect mission completion and he just happened to be a really good death soldier making his disguise skills top-notch.
Dressed in an office suit with a suitcase in hand and an especially warm smile on his face, who would have the slightest inkling that he might be a death soldier?

"What is going on."
"Is a beast on the loose?!"
"The officers couldn't keep it safe..."
"There are still multitudes of stranded scientists in there..."
"Can someone call the PET!!!"
Jack noticed the slight commotion at one of the gigantic structures in his pathway as multitudes of people gathered at the entrance, with greatly disturbed expressions.
Walking at his regular calm pace, he still maintained his facade of a regular young master and continued on his path, not at all paying attention to the commotion.
"What's with all the rabble..." An individual asked a middle-aged man dressed in a white lab coat.
"Our test subjects- the beasts, they've all been accidentally unlocked. The weakest is at the Intermediate Tier and the Strongest, King Tier; but our leader is just a D-rank- And the only one at that; there's no way they would be able to fend off the beasts..." The scientist replied his voice quivering in horror.
Ever since the introduction of powers (abilities), mana (energy required to use these abilities), awakeners (powered people/ability users) and direbeasts/beasts (animals corrupted by the mana).
A ranking system had been established to more accurately define an individuals strength, even though it wasn't perfect but it went like this:
Basic Tier, Intermediate Tier, Advanced Tier, King Tier, Emperor Tier, Legendary Tier, Demigod Tier, Demon Tier, Mythical Tier, Divine Tier, Omega Tier and Alpha Tier. (For the Beasts).
G-rank, F-rank, E-rank, D-rank, C-rank, B-rank, A-rank, S-rank, SS-rank, SSS-rank, X-rank and Z-rank. (For Awakeners).
In theory, one would expect a G-rank Awakener to be equal in strength to a Basic Tier Direbeast. But in reality, a group of at least 5 average G-ranks are needed to defeat a single Basic Tier Direbeast, same as the other ranks.
"A King Tier Beast??!"
"Has somebody called the PET?"
PET, an abbreviation for the "Powered Enforcement Taskforce." A group dedicated to every issue relating to Powered People, otherwise known as Awakeners.
"Tch, idiots..." Jack muttered under his breath, increasing his pace to get to his destination faster.
Inhumane screams of horror could be heard from the structure while the sound of collision rang out shaking the entire structure.
But none dared to move forward as that would be the equivalent of suicide.
"Help! Somebody, please help!!!" The scream of a young child echoed out as a young girl ran out of the building.
Tears streamed down her face, her long blonde hair ruffled with slight blood stains while her left arm was severed from the elbow as if bitten off by some strange animal.
"Somebody please help...my mother! She's still in there..." The girl screamed out, ignoring her massively bleeding arms as she repeatedly pulled the trousers of one of the standby.
A lady clad in a nurse suit grabbed the girl as she rapidly wrapped a bandage on her amputated hands before running towards the ambulance.
"No, wait! My mom is in there. Everyone is still there..."
"Don't worry girl, yhe PET will arrive soon, your mum will be safe, I promise..." The nurse said passing her into the ambulance as it immediately zoomed off into the distance leaving only the scream of the little girl that slowly faded away.
None left their position, some even moving farther away as they looked at the fresh blood on the ground.
Meanwhile watching the ambulance zoom off, the nurse who placed the little girl in the ambulance gave a slight curse under her breath, "Why won't the PET pickup??! Damn."
But in the next moment, she and all the bystanders outside were all shocked speechless as they witnessed a black haired young man in an official business suit and a suitcase in hand taking large strides towards the building.
"Is he mad!!!?"
"Who is he?"
"Perhaps an awakener..."
"No, there's not an ounce of mana in him!" The shocked murmur of the crowd immediately rang out as the back of the young man faded away from sight.
---
A leg slammed the lab's door knocking it off its hinges as shrill screams immediately broke out from a group of five scientists.
They let out screams of horror out of fear but soon quieted down after waiting for five seconds of nothing happening and all raised their head, their gaze meeting a young man dressed in official clothing and with a suitcase in his hands.
"Get out of here..." That was the last words they heard before he disappeared and the next moment...
BOOM!
BOOM!
BANG!
The sound of collisions shook the entire floor.
-- -- --
A long pointy tongue rapidly pierced forward with speed emerging from a mutant beast with the strange physique of a dog but with the head of a frog.
In the line of the projectile was a young man with a suitcase in hand. Even though the projectile was heading towards him faster than the human eyes could track, he easily sidestepped, effectively dodging the projectile.
Faster than a bullet, the beast repeatedly flicked its tongue towards him causing huge holes to appear in the walls surrounding the place as the young man seemed to have become one with the wind easily avoiding all the attacks without much of a change in his expression.
Jack finally arrived in front of the strange beast which quickly retracted its tongue before pouncing on him, but he immediately jumped upwards into the air avoiding the collision before delivering a powerful stump at the beast's head from above.
BAM!
Green blood and brain juices splattered across the entire ground. "I should have eaten that." Jack said as he slowly walked towards the door on the side, opening it.
