Snapping her index and middle fingers, the music stopped playing.
"Don't you know to knock before entering a room?" Sylvia chastised, feigning an angered expression, "Especially that of a female!"
Looking at Sylvia, Jack seemed to be in deep thought, "Have we...met before?"
Hearing Jack's voice, Sylvia felt her face heating up, 'Oh my gosh! He's got a nice British accent."
"You seem...a bit familiar," Jack openly pondered some more since he didn't get any response when he asked his question earlier.
[Jack, she's the Base Head from before, the one who took a photo of you, remember?]
"Oh! You're that Base-head!" Jack exclaimed, acting like it just came back to him, but thanking AJ in his mind, 'Thanks, buddy.'
"I mean- yes, but when you put it like that..." Sylvia said, playing around with her hair as she imagined herself with a baseball bat for a head.
'Silly me,' she thought as the red shade on her face became even brighter.
'She seems sick, AJ. Her face is all red, and I can hear her heart pounding really fast...I fear she's going to drop dead any minute now.'
[Ugh! Please don't spoil the mood...why don't you take a step forward and ask her how you got here?]
'Okay,' Jack replied in his mind as he literally took a step forward and asked, "I was wondering- do you have any clue on how I got here?"
Fearing she may misunderstand, Jack proceeded to explain more, "I mean- it's not every day you-."
But he was cut shortly after by Sylvia, who was hugging herself at this point, "I saw you earlier this morning, lying in the streets, soaked in a pool of blood and surrounded by countless headless corpses."
"I- I- I didn't mean to intrude. I mean- I just- I felt-"
"Thank You," Jack said, catching her off guard as he gave a deep bow, his head the same level as his waist.
With widened eyes, Sylvia clutched her chest as her already fast-beating heart became hyperactive once more.
"But I didn't do mu-"
"I know, but for what you've done, I thank you, Ms. ?"
"Sylvia- Sylvia Albastrum." She said, extending her right hand for a handshake.
Meeting the slender arm in the air, Jack replied, "Trevor Adams."
---
"Come with me," Sylvia said, exiting the room, Trevor (Jack) following after her to a larger opening, the plane's cockpit.
Looking up, Trevor could see the clouds more clearly, through the transparent barrier.
Sylvia didn't stop moving until she stood directly in front of Trevor, "I want to personally thank you for saving the day back at the lab...I doubt I'd have survived this long if it weren't for you."
"I also want to apologise...I may have taken an unconsented photo of you fighting the "Night Wolf," I swear I didn't have any evil intentions when I took it; I just-."
"It's okay," Trevor cut her off. "You saved me, alright? That makes us even." He said as he looked towards the clouds, feeling a rare sense of peace.
[Yay! You didn't mess it up]
'Oh, shut up!'
[< ~ >]
Stealing side glances at Trevor, Sylvia had a single thought, "Was he always this hot...?!"
---
"Um, Sylvia?
"Hm?"
"Where is the plane headed?" Trevor asked.
"Oh, I'm heading back home to P.C.", Sylvia replied.
"You have a home in Paradise City?" Trevor asked, surprised. Paradise was the safest city, ranked number one in the world, and farthest from Suicides City.
'It's the most perfect place for me to run away to,' Trevor thought, 'guess I'd stick around for a while then."

Ever Since Direbeasts appeared on Earth, Humanity has been forced to stick close together, bringing all known cities towards/around the centre of the Earth.
And the city at the absolute centre of the Earth was none other than P.C, which translates to Paradise City.
Here, one would find the most powerful cultivators of Earth, making this place not only the most secure due to its natural location but also due to the number of strong people who preferred to reside in this place.
Never had this city been breached, and it could be said to be Humanity's last defence.
---
After getting scanned by hundreds of different rays of light, a jet entered the atmosphere of Paradise City.
The large double door slowly opened as steam oozed out from it, the figure of two young humans alighting from it.
One was a fair tall female around 17 years old with long silver hair and a pretty oval face, dressed in purple and white clothing.
The other was a golden-haired young man with a diamond-shaped face and elongated jaws, dressed in an all-black-colored official clothing with a coat on his shoulders.
Not long after exiting the jet, a man dressed as a butler approached, giving Sylvia a bow before taking her luggage and leading them towards a purple and silver car with the words Albastrum and Big Four written on either side of it.
Arriving by the car, another man in a more elegant butler uniform opened the door for Sylvia to enter.
Moving forward, Trevor was stopped by the man.
HALT!
Trevor slowly turned in the direction of the mam and stared into his eyes.
Perspirations immediately appeared on the man's head, a clear sign of distress and nervousness, causing Trevor to give a nod of approval.
The majority of the people who sighted him would usually be attracted to him due to his looks and, most importantly,y, his mannerisms, which have been cultivated to be as nice and easygoing as possible.
But only very few would be able to immediately see through him by looking into his eyes.
And this man in front of him was part of this rare group which elicited a nod of approval from him.
"He's a friend, Mr. Khan, let him in..." Sylvia said from the car as the man slowly shifted to the side, allowing Trevor to enter the car.
"Don't mind Old Khan. He's like that sometimes..."
"I understand that he's only doing his job and I must say, he's quite good at it..." Trevor replied looking at the back of the man who started the engine before slowly driving into the distance.
Silence permeated through the car as Trevor was lost in thought when he felt something land on his shoulder.
"Hm?"
Opening his eyes, he saw a head- Sylvia's head, she was fast asleep and was using his shoulder as some sort of pillow.
[All that talking must have drained her] AJ commented.
[I suggest you lower your body a bit, maybe take a resting position, keeping your stomach, waist and knees in the same position...she'd be more comfortable that way]
---
"The eyes are windows to the soul."
This was one of Mr Khan's quotes and one he had slowly built his skill on over almost 60 years of working as a butler for one of the top families on earth.
He was already a master at his craft, being able to see through people, to the point of predicting their actions, but... 'Those eyes,' Old Khan repeated in his mind.
He continued driving his attention was more on Trevor than the road, 'Those golden eyes.'
---
"AJ, why do I get system messages without noticing I get them?" Jack probed, his back reclined.
[That's because you felt the system was so annoying that you muted the system, even going as far as to block most notifications]
[If I wasn't with you, I believe you'd forget about the system entirely]
"Meh! Please unmute, 'the system,'."
Immediately Trevor's view became flooded with a multitude of golden messages, so much that he couldn't see the back of the front seats.

Just then, Trevor heard the butler's voice announce, "We're here."
Immediately shoving aside all system messages, Trevor raised himself, sitting erect, inadvertently waking Sylvia up.
"Uh! Are we there yet?"
Looking through his side of the window, Trevor's eyes were met with a grand gate with a Silver and Purple Signboard that read thus, "House Of Albastrum."
"Yes, we are."
