When she got off, she put the short leather jacket he was wearing on his head to protect her from getting wet. She didn't have an umbrella with her, and the weather forecast didn't predict such a storm, and the weather had been completely clear and sunny before, without any clouds.
So maybe the existence of this rain is due to the events that happened a few hours ago.
Anyway, Ennis looked around, there was a car in front that she had hit due to her poor vision. But the path became a little narrower from here on because a line of cars could be seen ahead.
She had been driving for about an hour, and now she had reached the toll booth at the entrance of the city. After this long queue, she could not pass by car and had no choice but to walk the rest of the way.
So she entered the car again to take the necessary supplies that she needs. a flashlight, knife, fishing line and some food; She put them in her backpack. And she took a garbage bag from her box and used it as a raincoat. And she pulled another one over her backpack to protect the contents from getting wet. And she got out of the car and started walking.
Those black clouds darkened the air and prevented the sunlight from entering like a canopy. And in this hot summer, the air was so cold that she could see the hot steam of her breath.
The path fell into an eerie silence, no sound could be heard. Like a horror movie, she felt that at any moment something scary might come out of those cars and rush towards her.
But, apart from that silence and space empty of any living thing, there was nothing but fear. Has the city also sunk into the void of silence and people have disappeared?
As she was walking, she saw a car with two bicycles on the back. Fortunately, they were attached to the trunk of the car with a holder. So Ennis could easily take one of them. In this way, she could get home faster by using them.
But she was oblivious to one thing.
Something that chose silence during this time and now wanted to break that silence and attack the heart of this world.
A supersonic sound resonated in the existence of this world, a sound higher than the threshold of human hearing.
And that voice woke up something whose existence is like a nightmare for this world and threatens the life of all beings.
A blue and shiny streak flowed from behind them and those gray creatures woke up.
Unaware of what was in front of her, Ennis continued on her way, after an hour of cycling, she was almost close to her place of residence and wanted to cross a side street to get home sooner.
But it stopped in a moment.
Something moved in front of her. Something 3 meters tall was approaching her.
"That...what is that?"
Ennis was a little anxious and her heart rate increased. She punched her chest not so hard to get out of that state. The thing moved closer to Ennis, every step the creature took making a loud noise. The claws that were pulled on the wall made an ear-splitting sound.
That scary monster showed her its fangs, Ennis felt that the creature was grinning at her and wanted to play her.
Ennis took out the knife she kept in her bag, although it was a small kitchen knife, it was the only thing she could rely on at the moment.
Suddenly, the creature jumped towards Ennis and attacked with speed.
Ennis was shocked and her hands started shaking.
"You mean I'm going to die so easily?!"
The monster aimed its sharp claws at Ennis's neck. At that moment, the only thing that came to Ennis' mind to avoid the attack was to throw the bicycle at the monster. The monster, seeing the bicycle as an obstacle between her and Ennis, hit it with its sharp claws and split it into several parts.
Pieces of the bike fell around. And that creature reached the top of Anis's head.
Ennis had to raise her head to see that 3 meter monster, when she looked up. She saw the terrifying mesh eyes of the creature and its sharp teeth and its snake-like tongue. The monster wanted to crush Annis's head like a watermelon with its claws.
Ennis, who was scared and trembling from the awe of that creature, did not know how to save herself. She attacked that monster with a small knife in her hand.
But that attack was ineffective and did not even scratch the monster's skin. it had very hard and scaly skin.
But that monster didn't pay attention to Ennis' small attack, it was like a small ant wanted to bother it. The creature liked to play with its prey, so it did not act against Enis at that moment.
Ennis was more scared than before, her breathing became heavy and her blood flowed faster than before. When she understood the creature's intention, she was nothing but a hobby for it.
