Gwendolyn glanced at Dorothy, her unease growing.
"Do you see that?" Gwendolyn asked, her voice tinged with worry.
Dorothy looked up and frowned. "Yeah, that's weird. It's like the sun's being dimmed for some reason."
Gwendolyn shook her head, feeling a chill. "I don't understand it. We were making good progress, and now it's like the day's slipping away."
Dorothy sighed, glancing around nervously. "This is just perfect. As if things weren't confusing enough."
Gwendolyn reached out, touching her shoulder.
Dorothy jumped a little, looking at her in surprise.
"Hey, it's okay," Gwendolyn said softly.
"Sorry, Miss, I'm just on edge," Dorothy said, shaking her head.
Gwendolyn gave her a reassuring smile.
"We'll be okay," Gwendolyn responded, her voice gentle. "Let's keep going, and hopefully, we'll find the path again soon."
