Someone cleared their throat and Natzin turned to see Song standing in the open doorway and holding two cups of coffee while looking at her with a tender look.
She turned away from him and quickly dashed the tears which had gathered in her eyes away and looked at him with a brave smile that failed to hide the pain she was feeling while he continued to look at her with concern.
"I thought that you would have gone home by now." She said as he came over and handed her a hot coffee which she gratefully took. "You really don't have to stay here."
"I could not leave you when I knew that you were here alone." He said and eyed her then asked, "how are you feeling? How is he?"
Natzin sighed and he took a seat by her side and watched her profile as she looked at the frail man who was laying on the hospital bed and connected to so many tubes.
