Destiny's POV
"Let me go!" I shouted before the guard released me from his hold.
"Who are you? Do you have an appointment?" He asked.
"We are here to apply as maids," I replied, and he stared at me with mockery on his face.
"I am sorry to tell you this, but your companion here would qualify as one of the maids, and I don't think you will pass at first glance. I couldn't believe you have the guts to say that, " the guard said.
"Watch your mouth, mister," Lela interjected with anger.
"Why? Is there something wrong with what I said?" He asked Lela as he shifted his focus on her.
"Your friend here is gruesome, and I am sure she will not pass." He added.
"You better leave before the police take you to the police station, " the guard continued.
"We have done nothing wrong. Besides, I knew Red and the master of this estate." I countered.
