Destiny's POV
I stayed in my room for the rest of the day. I didn't want to see Red. I skipped dinner and planned to wake up early to commute on my way to work since Monday was the busiest day of the week, and I didn't want Red to drive me.
I couldn't tell Thomas and Daria to stop meddling with my personal life since they are like parents to me.
I looked at my reflection in the mirror one more time before I picked up my bag and phone and tiptoed, going out of my room to the main door. I couldn't believe Red was already leaning on his car, looking as hot as ever.
He wore faded jeans and a white t-shirt and made his outfit complete with white sneakers. I sucked air and made myself ready to face him.
"Don't you have work in the city, Atty. Galvez? I heard you are famous now, being one of the highest-paid attorneys; why are you wasting your time here on the farm?" I asked as I walked past him so fast that I almost lost my balance.
