Destiny's POV
"Thomas, I don't think I can come with Atty. Galvez, maybe Daria could go with him." I mumbled after I recovered from my shock.
"Why, what is wrong with Red? It must be a surprise for my bride. You are closest to my wife-to-be and the only one who can accompany him; no one here knows Daria better than you do, my dear," he responded, and I cleared my throat.
"Thomas, do you have time? I mean, can we walk for a while? There is something I want to tell you, actually, a confession." I blurted out, and he cocked his head at me as his pupils dilated in surprise.
"A confession about what?" He asked, and my face felt hot as I blushed while his scouring eyes fixed on mine.
"About myself," I replied, and he just looked at me for a long time without any reaction before he spoke.
"Okay, you have to eat first; I will be waiting for you in the back garden," he said.
