Silas patiently stood beside Finn, his back to him, shielding him from view. When Finn finally calmed down, he tapped Silas's leg.
"Help me up," Finn said, extending his hand.
"No, let's leave this place," Finn rubbed the dirt from his palms as he stood.
Silas cast [Water Blessing]. A blue orb formed before them, emitting a soft light as it circled them. Finn nodded and started running for the way out of the forest, with Silas following close behind. Their surroundings blurred as they sped through the forest, dried leaves swirling in the air behind them.
But their brief respite was shattered. Silas felt a presence trailing them and soon confirmed his suspicion. From the corner of his eye, he saw a glint among the woods. He skidded to a stop, nearly colliding with a towering tree. With a swift motion, he summoned his [Staff] and cast [Magic Pierce] in the direction of the glint. The bullet of light shot through the forest, exploding in a blinding flash.
