The light from the Fire Pillar revealed a metal door on the other side of the room. When they reached it, the door was already unlocked, revealing a dark hallway behind it. Silas pushed the door open, and a cold wind blew past his face.
"Another dark hallway," Finn grumbled.
Silas stepped forward with Finn beside him. As soon as they entered the hallway, they heard the sound of flint. Torches attached to the walls lit up, illuminating the narrow passage with firelight.
The two glanced at each other. Silas cleared his throat. "Shall we go in?"
Finn replied with a nod.
The hallway was not as narrow as they thought it would be, but its ceiling was strange. Its height was uneven. There were times when the two had no choice but to bend low to avoid hitting their heads on the stone.
"This one seems longer than that flight of stairs we encountered earlier," Finn commented.
