"What are you doing inside?"
Barbara jolted hearing the healer's voice. She gulped and turned slowly. "I was running behind the cat and I got here by chance," she explained.
"I supposed that the lady will be thoughtful enough not to trespass the library once again," he said, displeased by her actions.
Barbara pursed her lips. "I will keep that in mind," she said, walking over. Thinking that she needed the man to tell her the source of her disease and how he discovered her body swap, she slowed her steps. The man was seemingly angry, so perhaps he would refuse to help her. She stopped and held her head, acting as if she was dizzy.
Healer Morton helped her to sit down on the chair, then grabbed her hand, taking her pulse. His expression was serious. He frowned. "The symptoms should not appear so early," he murmured, checking her pulse once again.
