"Why haven't you gotten ready yet?" Kaisar asked, his tone sharp and filled with irritation.
"How am I supposed to change when the door's broken?" Barbara snapped back at him.
After Kaisar stepped out, Barbara tried to close the door or at least cover it with something so she could change, but it wouldn't close after half of it was broken! It was still early, and most people were still asleep, but there was always a chance someone might pass by the room. What did they think of seeing a woman changing her clothes? Moreover, the room was far too small to have a separate corner for a bathroom. She regretted insisting on living here and not moving into a bigger room!
But who could have thought of it? Barbara frowned, her rage rising up. All of this was because of him. She gazed at him furiously with the urge to kick him hard!
"I'll stay here. You change," Kaisar said, turning his back to her and standing stiffly by the door.
