Early the next day, Kaisar knocked on the door of Barbara's chamber, but she did not respond. After a few futile attempts, he frowned. Is she such a heavy sleeper? He thought, turning the knob to open the door, but it was locked. His frown deepened, thinking that she might run away. Her words last day echoed in his mind, as he felt a deep sense of helplessness.
She cannot do that! He thought angrily.
Driven by his anger, he took a few steps back and kicked the door open, causing a loud bang. It was still morning and dark outside, so most people were sleeping. Kaisar rushed inside.
"What are you doing? Are you insane!" she yelled, her voice trembling from anger and fear.
Kaisar heaved a sigh of relief at seeing Barbara getting off the bed, shocked. Her harsh words did not affect him a bit.
"I knocked many times, but you did not open," he replied curtly with a slight frown painting his stoic face.
