"Luca, what's going on? Why's Vladimir after you?" Leona followed her nephew into his room. She watched as he smoothed his hands over his hair and began pacing the room.
"I'm not going to let this slide. I'm going to make them pay," he seethed before facing his aunt. "Can you believe that stupid fucker? He killed one of my men! Fuck!"
"Luca, please relax. Don't make hasty decisions. We're talking about the Russian Mafia here."
"I know that, but he fucking killed one of my men. I can't let it slide."
"But why? Why would he do such a thing?" Leona was confused. Vladimir wasn't known to act rashly.
"It's because I killed his stupid men. All of them."
"Are you fucking crazy? Why would you do that?"
"Because they came for me first," he retorted, growing frustrated. "Listen, I was at a bar having a few drinks with Gianna when those bastards came there. I tried to leave peacefully, but they blocked my path and attempted to kill me."
