Leona smiled and then took a seat on the couch. "Since you didn't bother to offer me a seat, I might as well just sit down."
Luca was still stunned, watching in confusion as the tall lady crossed her legs elegantly. "What are you doing here?" he asked again.
"Is that how to welcome your aunt?" She raised her thick brows with a hard stare, which made him release a sigh.
"You know it's not like that, I'm just a little bit confused. You didn't even call."
"I wanted it to be a surprise." She flashed him all her teeth, which made him roll his eyes.
He took a seat on the couch across from her. "It's Gianna, isn't it?" Luca shook his head. "I should have known she'd do it anyway."
"Luca, what's going on? She's really worried about you."
"Don't listen to her, Leona. She's overreacting."
