Chapter 23 - The Plan And The Prophecy
The system and the realm core continued their gibberish talk for a few minutes before coming to an abrupt halt.
{Fine, I'll lend you as much as possible.} The realm core spoke cheerfully.
[You have my word.] The system also spoke cheerfully.
{So, you are from a human world?} The realm core spoke to me.
"Yes" I answered quickly.
{You want to back?} She asked me.
"Do you know a way?" My eyes shined with curiosity.
{I'm sorry to disappoint you, but there are millions of worlds where humans inhabit. So...} The realm core spoke bitterly.
"It's fine." I sighed with my dead curiosity.
{Hey, I'm not saying that it's impossible. You have space element affinity, and you can find your way back to your world as long as you try all the portals.} The realm core consoled me.
"I lack the mana to perform such spells, let alone try a million times. And even if I have mana from my surroundings, there's some kind of barrier that will let me perform such spells." I sighed dejectedly.
{The barrier you're talking about is probably 'Talent'. You're able to perform these skills because the system is able to engrave them in your origin. It's like performing the skillful act of climbing like a monkey, but the monkey is still more proficient than your performance.} The realm core explained quickly.
"So, how do I overcome this barrier ?" I asked with a determined face.
{Simple, just kill some space abyssal beings and absorb their traits. Talents also come under trait category.}
"Fine then can you tell me their location?" I immediately made the gears in my head work at an astonishing speed.
{Here.} The realm core sent a small blue light piercing my forehead.
Inside my head, a red circle in the shape of a planet came into my vision. There were patches of black, blue, gray, green, red, orange and other colors all around it. There were numerous black dots covering this globe.
Among these black dots there were red dots which were constantly moving around.
{The colorful patches show the elemental zones such as red for fire, blue for water, green for wood, yellow for earth and others. The black dots are the monster dungeons under the abyssal army. And the red dots are the abyssal generals who are in charge and also responsible for my current condition.} The realm core's explanation brought me back from my thoughts.
"And what about the blue dot ?" I asked.
{That's me~} The realm core spoke sheepishly.
{Well, now there are two dots because you freed the slime dungeon earlier.}
"..."
Looks like she won't last long.
A few hours later, I stepped outside the blue door and found out to be near the slime dungeon's core.
Ugh! I hope that orc doesn't come after me.
Cold sweat appeared on my back and I shivered uncontrollably.
Discarding the orc's muscular feminine features, I looked at my status window.

Even after the skill fusions, their descriptions are just more cluttered. I should avoid combining skills by ranks blindly.
I immediately rushed outside the dungeon and without any delay headed towards a particular direction.
I'm coming S-rank dungeon 'Goblin's Den'!
There were sparks of flame ignited in my eyes, filled with determination and destructiveness.
Whoever stops me from reaching my family... will die!
…
In a dark room adorned with various bone decorations. There were the skulls of all races on the walls and there were all kinds of weapons made with bones too.
In the middle of this room stood two beings surrounding an orb shining with blinding gold lights.
These two figures were a goblin wearing a golden robe with beautiful tailoring, and the other one was a skeleton warrior holding a sword.
The goblin was hovering his hands over the orb while his mouth was mumbling with ancient spells-
CRACK! CRACK!
The orb suddenly had two cracks over his surface and its white light began to shatter slowly.
"Kek! This is bad!" The goblin screamed with insanity in his eyes.
"What happened?" The skeleton spoke coldly.
"..." Instead of answering anything, the goblin cast a small spell over the orb, and it lit up again.
This time, the orb's light was generated in a way of a screen showing something.
In the screen, there was a scene of mountains made of various Abyssal monster corpses.
The scene faded and changed to another scene in which there was a golden brick flying in the sky with thousands of colorful eyes behind it.
"Kek! The orb of Fate's prophecy cannot be wrong, Kek!" The goblin spoke with a frown on his face. "We need to-"
BANG! BANG!
Both the eyes and mouth of the goblin burst open like popcorn.
"Keeiiek!" The goblin screamed in agony, holding his head.
"Hehe, I was waiting for this day~" A giggle could be heard from the room that echoed for some time.
CLACK! CLACK!
"Your followers have been killed long ago, and you are slowly losing your divinity as time passes. Killing a prophet will only slow us down a little." The skeleton's chilling voice echoed in the dark room.
The goblin was already dead, and its corpse had turned into ashes by now.
The Orb of Fate restored its appearance as if there was never a crack on its surface. Its blinding light disappeared, turning the orb's color to gray.
BANG!
The skeleton left the room with the door making loud noise.
