Owen launched himself forward, zipping past the three he was supposed to be side by side with.
"Owen, no… fall back."
The said name ignored her and continued towards the creature.
The creature lunged its claws forward but the blonde swiftly slid to the side. A grin appeared on his face as he swung his assault sword at the creature's neck but it also dodged the attack.
The creature lunged multiple scratches with its claws but it all got repelled by an energy shield surrounding the light-skinned man.
Owen waited until the being had closed in to strike him before swinging his sword at it. The creature jumped back just in time to only end up with a thin cut in its chest.
The blonde-haired man used his movement to block any opportunities his partners had to assist while launching heavy attacks at the being. He feigned an attack with his sword and just when the creature evaded that attack, he threw a left punch that caught the creature cleanly on the jaw, sending it back into a half-damaged building.
The sky shook with a thunderstorm and lightning struck the ground all around, disrupting the other Sweepers' positioning, but it didn't stop Owen.
He launched himself through the wall of the half-damaged building and swung his sword at the beast. "Not yet!!" He yelled, his movements becoming faster and less predictable by the creature.
"Unbelievable, he is remarkable," Aria muttered under her breath.
Liam attempted to charge forward but got held back by the Sweeper from the Hydrospace division. "What are you doing? We need to stop him or he'll kill himself," said the teal green-eyed man.
Willow replied by shaking her head. "All unit, hold off any advance for now, keep your eyes open for other Creatures," she said into her communication device.
"Willow, we need to stop him before he reaches limitless."
"No Liams, we need to help him reach it, this could be our chance. Plus you will get caught in his onslaught."
Owen slid left and cut, then right and cut. He tossed his assault sword in the air and pulled out a small dagger, lunging it at the creature's side. The beast screeched loudly and stomped its feet on the ground. The ground beneath them quaked and boulders rose from the ground, creating space between itself and the raging Sweeper.
Owen looked up at the time count that was being projected among other things to see only fifteen seconds left before his full capacity wore off. "Not yet!" He jumped in the air and spun before grabbing his assault sword which he tossed up a few minutes ago.
Wings suddenly popped out of the creature's back allowing it to take a fight into the air to escape the onslaught.
It was the closest they'd ever come to killing a creature, and probably their best chance to put one down, but it all seemed to be slipping away. The blonde's vision began to blur up from the edge and his body was starting to slow down.
He already had his blade set forward at the former location of the beast, and now that it was flying away, it was impossible to break his movement and attack the monster. "D-damn it," he groaned.
Liam dropped his blaster by his side and rushed forward. "Liam!" Aria, Thomas, and a few other Sweepers followed behind the light brown-haired man.
"Ropes!" Liam yelled. He extended his left hand and a rope flew out of the suit and hooked onto the beast's chest.
The others also do the same and together they pulled the Creature back down. Owen's eyes opened clearly as he saw the new opening created for him. The creature screeched and struggled to escape from the hook but it couldn't as more ropes plunged into its body.
The blonde-haired Sweeper tightened the grip on his assault sword and channeled just enough strength to land what he believes will be the finishing blow. His iris became thin as he continued to charge on. A new surge of energy engulfed him and his began to burn in flames.
Owen felt everything pause just as his sword started to pierce the monster's body. "Huh?"
A bolt of lightning suddenly struck the top of the already half-damaged building causing the ground beneath the Sweepers to crumble and an ocean of water to gush out and wash them all away.

"My Lord."
"My Lord."
"Lord Zephyr…"
"Zephyr!!"
The white-haired man sat up on his bed to see Dahila staring at him with a neutral expression. "It's you," he exhaled.
"You were trembling and chanting words again," she revealed.
Zephyr used his hand to push back his hair and sighed. "It's those dreams again."
"I think it's time you see a Prime about these dreams you are having, maybe it could mean something," said Dahila while helping Zephyr into a bathrobe.
"You're right, schedule a meeting for this morning-- we'll get moving after my smoke," he said.
About half an hour later, Zephyr stepped out of his car that just made a stop in front of a small arcade-like building. The car had strayed off the main street of Graviton and into a more rocky area. He fixed his coat and rubbed his palms together.
"Are you cold, my Lord?" Dahila questioned.
The white-haired man shook his head no and slipped his hand into his pocket. "I'm fine," he replied. He looked around the place, noticing that the building in front of him was the only one in the whole area and everything else was just rocks and a few very tall trees.
"Are you sure we are at the right place?" From the look on the white-haired man's face, it doesn't take a genius to know that he doesn't trust the location they are at.
Dahila pulled out her tablet and scrolled through it. "Yes sir, the meeting was scheduled to take place here."
"Does this Prime know it was I who will be meeting with them?"
The beige-haired lady shook her head no. "Negative. I believe the Prime primarily uses this place for her meetings."
"I see, let's enter then."
Dahlia walked ahead of Zephyr and knocked on the door, a few moments later, a small-framed lady with extremely pale skin and red hair which was styled in a updo opened the door. She wore an ethereal sky blue gown which seemed to be a little too oversized for her. Her completely white eyes scanned Dahila before her lip curled into a warm smile. "You must be the one who made an appointment…" her words trailed off as Dahila stepped aside, allowing the first son of the Star Lord to walk forward.
"Lord Zephyr." She swiftly went down to her knees and bowed to the white-haired man.
Zephyr tucked a hair behind his ears and looked around the place, taking like the room before waving his hand for her to stand.
"Is this where you live?"
"I had no idea it was you, I would have made this meeting in a different location, maybe somewhere a little closer to the Villa."
He scoffed and helped himself into the room, sitting on a chair that was supposed to be for the Prime. The lady eyed him for a moment before finding a different chair to sit on. "I don't suppose you have time for the full session so I'll suggest we get straight into it?"
Zephyr leaned back on the chair, crossed his legs, and began fiddling with his long nails. "I've been having dreams," he revealed.
"What type of dreams?"
"Well, at first it was just a glimpse of people that I have lost, but now the things I see are more about people around me." He leaned forward. "It's as though I am seeing things that are yet to come."
The lady's brows are crooked. She eyed the white-haired man for a while before speaking. "And have any of these things happen?"
"Of course, I dreamt that someone who would be a threat to my well-being and position at the villa would arrive and it did happen."
"And what's the latest one that has happened?" The red-haired lady questioned.
"That I will be betrayed by someone who I trust," he replied.
The lady ran her hand through her hair and inhaled deeply. "Perhaps you are a special born, one blessed by the Greyes to see things that are yet to come, it's rare, but it's true."
Zephyr leaned forward. "Or could it be that I am the prophet spoken about in the Book?" He blurted.
The lady held Zephyr's stare for a moment before extending her right hand for Zephyr to put his on hers. She used her thumb and pressed down the middle of his palm. "With all due respect, my Lord, I don't think you are," she stated.
Zephyr pulled his hand away from her and stood up on his feet. "You don't think I have what it takes to be the one?"
"It's not what I mean, my Lord, it's just you don't fit the descriptions given in the book."
"I see," he scoffed before making his way to the exit.

● Inner Core
Exact Location: The Forbidden Zone.
Liam opened his eyes to the sound of multiple thunderstorms. He quickly dragged himself to a stand and scanned the location he was at. "Hello?" He said into his communication device but received continuous glitching sounds for the reply.
He took out a luminaire stick and broke it open, using it to light up his path. Though it only brightened up a few steps ahead of him, it was enough for him to notice two bodies, both Sweepers lying unconscious on the ground.
"No!" He rushed to the bodies and wiped some mud that had coated the mask to see the face. He felt his heart skip a bit and his eyes blurred for a few seconds as he realized who it was.
"Zara…"
