Both Alex and Qingyue had left the Floating Cloud City. Xia Qingyue had wanted to meet her brother before leaving, but he was sent to another city by Xia Hongyi with his subordinate to make him see how the business worked. Alex reassured her that they would be coming back here in two months.
Alex had been thinking about which place he should go to. This journey wasn't only going to be for training Qingyue. It was also going to be the time during which he was going to hone his skills.
Sure, he was powerful in terms of energy levels, as spirit cultivation or basically, the Qi cultivation was all about increasing the energy reserves of cultivators. The energy could be used in different ways such as using as a reinforcement on the body or basically doing energy or elemental attacks.

It might not seem much but even a small amount of energy can turn tides in an actual fight.
As for Alex's offense and defense techniques, they were even worse. He did not have any, all he currently had in his arsenal was a huge amount of energy reserves and raw elemental control. Both of which came thanks to the Shadow God's Physique.
The only reason his battle powers were at the Divine Origin Realm was because he could use his large energy reserves to suppress any being and this was more supported by his innate skills.
Alex knew that he needed to work on that and moreover, he hadn't put his skills like Artifact refining or Alchemy in practice due to the lack of materials and instruments.
'Hmm, I guess I will get a things required for Alchemy and Artifact Refining. I also need to get the currency for any future expenditure.' thought Alex.
Alex had wrapped Xia Qingyue in a bubble of his own energy as she hadn't reached the Sky Profound Realm yet, thus couldn't fly yet.
Alex looked at Xia Qingyue and spoke, "We are going to the Black Moon Merchant Guild in the Blue Wind Imperial City first to buy some things."
Qingyue nodded at him.
Alex just sighed at this. To be honest he was regretting his own decision of approaching Xia Qingyue like this. In the beginning, all he wanted to do was to take her as his disciple as her she was talented enough to become a God Empress in her early thirties.
But things went disarrayed when he succumbed to his own hormones and desires and spoke that. Not that he did not intend to have this beauty in his harem in the future, but he was currently getting annoyed by all the coldness from her side.

At first the branch owner had malicious intent towards Alex and wanted to know about where Alex had gotten them from. Do not underestimate the value of Purple Veined Divine Crystals, they were so rare that only the sacred grounds and the Divine Phoenix Empire had them.
But those intentions quickly went away as soon as Alex revealed his Emperor level cultivation aura.
Alex then purchased stuff that was going to be required for Alchemy such as Alchemy furnace and some sets of materials, that were enough for him to create Emperor grade pills. He bought hundred set of materials for each grade.
Alex also bought a Forging Furnace of the highest quality they had alongside a forging hammer. He also bought hundred set of different metals required for artifact refining.
In total Alex spent twenty five million purple profound coins on them. He walked out with four hundred and seventy five million purple profound coins from there, essentially taking all the money the branch had.
Alex then took Qingyue to the place that was going to be there training spot for the next few weeks.
He had already found a cultivation technique for Xia Qingyue to cultivate. This technique would make her vastly different from her cannon self.
He had also found a few books for him to improve his mentality a bit. These books were the next-level version of the books like 48 laws of power, Laws of Human nature, Mastery etc.
