Just as Alex was about to sleep, he heard whispering from Xia Qingyue's bed, Alex looked over to her side saw her muttering something in her sleep, she was saying,
"I am sorry father....I am sorry brother....I am sorry mother..." again and again on repeat.
Alex sighed and went near her bed and went on his knees and then with one of his hand, he held her hand and placed his other hand on her forehead and started to channel his energy in her body.
His energy worked much better than the pill he had given her before.

She is after all only a 15 years old girl yet, I shouldn't see her as a character, but rather for who she is. Alex then looked at Qingyue and noticed that she had calmed down now.
Alex then tried to pull away his hand from her hand and wanted to go to his bed, but found that Qingyue had grabbed his hand tightly, even in her sleep.
Alex's eyes softened at this as he stopped trying to pull away and sat on the ground while keeping his hand in hers.
Alex looked at her and spoke softly as to not wake her up,
"Forgive me for everything Qingyue, I promise that from this moment on, I will protect you from anything and everything in this world. Nothing is going to harm you as long as I am alive. I promise you this."
Alex kept his head on her hand and closed his eyes, fully unknown to the fact that the girl was able to hear his words.
