It was a lot stronger than he expected it to be and when he ran his finger along the jagged edges, it was sharp as well.

Haze brandished the femur and ran towards the beetle. He wanted to end the fight as fast as he could.
With five lightning fast steps, he had gotten in front of the beetle. He raised the femur and brought it down on the beetle in a stabbing motion but the beetle somehow managed to move to the side before it could get stabbed.
Haze looked at the beetle in amazement. He didn't expect such quick reflexes from the giant sluggish moving beetle.
I guess insects are insects no matter the size. He thought as he launched himself at the beetle again.
The beetle flapped it's wings in response and a strong breeze came out of it.
The breezed blew Haze several feet back and he had to balance himself very well to avoid falling on his butt.
