ALESSANDRO'S POV:
"Arsenic powder." The doctor says with a straight face as he responds to me.
Now that I've gotten the answer I practically threatened him for, I'm feeling more murderous than ever.
"How the fuck did that get into her system?!" I ask in an enraged tone as I glare at him.
"From the discoloration on her palms and soles, I will say that this has been going on for a very long time." The doctor says in a shaky tone while keeping a healthy distance away from me.
"Someone has been feeding it to her for a long time now." The doctor says with a tone of finality.
"So the problem isn't the restaurant? It has been going on right from this house." I say more to myself.
My mood deepens and I promise myself to rain hell on whoever thought they could do this and walk free.
"So why now? Why did it affect her so badly?" I ground out harshly, not caring that the doctor might cower more.
