Chapter 1 - Gaol Gabriel

[A/N: I'm going to edit the chapters because the story is too far from what I've imagined. This story was inspired by the tv series scorpion and Jeffrey Deaver books the Lincoln Rhyme series. Hoping that you'll bear with me, a novice writer. Thank you.]

The word "gaol" was defined as a place for confinement or convicted people. It is an old English word that was used by British people, until it turned into 'jail' in the 20th century. But it was pronounced the same as "jail".

Hence the reason for my name. I'm Gaol Gabriel and the only thing that I am proud of is that I am smart. Smarter than Einstein though not as accomplished as him, but I have my own list of achievements. Until that dreadful day, which made me realize that God made me intelligent, but also took one thing for me. Sympathy, because I don't have this thing, I ended up in jeopardy. Where the shadows became my shackles and a prisoner from it.
