In the police station, detectives and officers are bustling with activities. Phone rang incessantly along with the rhythmic typings of keyboards. In the corner you can see a group of officers handling the case of the recent traffic accident that made Gaol and the other doctors busy all night till the wee hours of the morning. When one of the officers' phones rang.
He excused himself then answered the call.
"Hi sis,why did you call?"
"I know you're busy, but I've got a case for you."
"What kind of case are you going to recommend? Please tell me it's not a common quarrel inside the hospital."
Well if you have guessed right, indeed he was talking to Blyss. One of the nurses in the hospital that Gaol was working for.
"No it's not. We got a patient here who commit a suicide, but the chief doctor believed that there's a foul play because the victim is full of bruises and such"
"Are you serious? Maybe it's just a bullying case. But anyway I'll go there after we tidy up the things here."
He hung up the phone then looked at his team that was all red eyed, which shows that they worked all night.
"After you finish everything here, go home and have some rest. It might get hectic in the next few days."
He then left to go to the hospital. He didn't bring anyone with him because he thought that it was just a simple bullying case, but he got it all wrong. Then in the future he will regret getting acquainted with our queer doctor Gaol.
In the hospital, inside his office Gaol was seen inspecting the photos of bruises all over the patient's body. He can't help but to notice several injection marks on the boy's arm. When a knock was heard at his door.
"Come in"
"Doctor Gaol, I've brought a police officer just like you have requested." Blyss said then ushered his brother Jude to enter the office.
"Hi Doctor, I'm Jude Ross, the team leader of the violent crimes unit."
"I'm Gaol Gabriel, the head of the emergency department." They shook each other's hands then offered Jude to take a seat.
"I won't take much of your time, knowing that you have stayed awake dealing with the traffic accident last night."
"How did you know?" Jude asked as he was putting his guard at Gaol.
'Well, you sent all the victims to our hospital, which also made us sleepless at night.
Jude scratched his cheek because of embarrassment.
'Well, let's go back to our topic. I want you to investigate the case of one of our patients. He is a student in the Vocational School in the outskirts of the municipality.His name is Louise George, 17 and in his senior year." he then showed the patients' photo
"In the initial results of his tests, there are no ailments but he has a huge amount of drugs in his blood, sleeping pills to be specific. There are als bruises at the parts of the body that can be covered by clothes. But the eyecatching part is here." showed the photo of the boy's wrist.
"There are signs that someone has gripped his wrist hence I believe that there's foul play."
Blyss was awed by his deduction abilities, while Jude was contemplating about the initial information that he had received.
"Looks like there's more to it than meets the eye." he stated then stared at Gaol.
"I would like to talk to his parents first before I conduct an investigation."
Gaol nodded
"Hope to have a pleasant cooperation with you."
