The Red Strip town was a sight of dust and dump, decorated with red banners, tilted roofs, towering strongholds at the walls, and a tide of people dressed in soiled or coarse clothes who moved about with lowered heads and wide conical straw hats, keeping their features hidden from the direct sight. Many equipped themselves with visible blades, either on their backs or waists. Short knives stuffed into their obi, a steely gleam accidentally slipping through one's wrist in another corner, a somewhat hollow cane in a kind-looking, sincere elderly man leaning against an alley's entrance, a group of foul-mouthed women dressed in revealing dresses cornering a somewhat weaker-looking man in another corner, not far from the old man that should have been their prime target instead—the dust-clad town had a lot to offer.
Steps dragged through the tough, somewhat cracked ground. Harsh sunlight beat upon the city with immense heat during the day and unforgiving chill at night. Ronins mingled in the streets, prostitutes seduced their prey, and even the children adapted, running around to pickpocket easy targets, constantly testing their lucks with their fool-hardy, inexperienced natures, never knowing when they might encounter their last 'sucker.' Undoubtedly, these indisciplined kids must be orphans…
"Move it!"
A loud shout disrupted the street's chaotic peace. The noisy clamor died, leading several gazes—malicious and otherwise—to scan the conspicuous parade of a well-off, better-equipped, scowling team of Samurais acting as a vanguard to a decent procession boasting two horse-drawn carriages. Several knowledgable men and women inhaled sharply, eyes gleaming with intrigue after noticing the turtle shell-like symbol embossed on the second carriage. However, all these gazes soon returned to the armed samurai, their roughed-up, dull, plated armor, and those protective helmets, leaving their scowling features exposed for others to observe and realize the strung mood shared by the proud samurai of the Land of Stone's Kame Clan!
Their gazes were fiercer than hawks, lips pursed thin with disgust as the heavy stench of shit, piss, mud, blood, and several other things mixed and hung in the air. The horses moved slowly as the team of Samurai cleaved open a path through Red Strip's streets with shouts and threatening displays of unsheathing their swords—a sight that was enough to discourage many ill-minded individuals observing the procession from the dark.
The men moved with such precision and unity that their steps stamped simultaneously, rousing a noise overheard several streets beyond their current route.
"Wow."
Kai's ears twitched as he heard a bemused noise beside him as they scanned the parade.
"What else did you expect?" Kai inquired, watching the carriages approach the town's center before parking near the mayor's residence as a ravishing, dark-haired woman wearing her kimono by her shoulder's sides, exposing her neck and collarbones, stepped out with a team of intimidating ronin to greet the Kame's scion. She was the town's mayor—Jin Lin. Of course, Team 9 knew the woman as Tsunade, the only one confident enough to maintain a transformation Jutsu without having it detected by other sensors.
Even Kai couldn't do that.
It wasn't a matter of being skilled in chakra control or the jutsu since Kai attained immaculate precision over the months. Transformation Jutsu coats the shinobi with chakra before shaping its outer shell. Without unique means, it was one of the most recognizable techniques! So, Kai wondered how Tsunade achieved a transformation without alerting the Iwa Shinobi's sensor.
"Tsunade-sama is outstanding," Nono praised. She was the only one besides Kai. "I wouldn't have believed someone could maintain the Transformation Jutsu without alerting a sensor… did she teach you guys how to do it?"
"She would have if it was possible," Kai muttered. The team had used their sensory abilities to the maximum, trying to find flaws in Tsunade's disguise to no avail. How did she do it, wondered Kai. Tsunade appeared to be an ordinary woman to his senses, making her method more extraordinary!
The duo continued observing the team with their spyglasses.
'Can I build upon the [Two Symbols Protection] to achieve something like that?' Kai mused, watching the potbellied scion enter the manor. Behind him were four inconspicuous servants—the disguised Iwa team.
'And one of them has the Explosion Release…' Kai recalled his first C-ranked mission. He desired another round of challenge as his blood heated with the mere recollection of that glorious battle. However, Tsunade was stern and stubborn with her arrangements. Kai had to observe Nono while assisting in capturing the remainder of the Iwa Team.
"Does it feel uncomfortable?"
Nono's quiet inquiry snapped Kai out of his thoughts. He stuffed the spyglass into his pouch while tossing the bespectacled girl a questioning look.
"I meant the seal," Nono smiled. "I never experienced the seal used to conceal and restrict our chakra reserves. No wonder others dislike it. It's very uncomfortable."
"Really? Doesn't show on your face," Kai remarked before looking around. They hid on the roof to scout the region.
"You're very observant," Nono continued, seemingly pleased. "Your assessment is correct. I like exploring many boundaries, so I always welcome some discomfort. I read that pain can become pleasing, too."
Kai stopped and glanced at the weird girl.
What was she yapping about?
He had no assessment of her, his mind occupied with the lust to battle a challenging foe like before and beat the shit out of them!
"Okay?" Kai hummed. The seal on their bodies concealed them from sensors, but it also temporarily cost them their Chakra Reserves until they removed the concealment.
"Do you like exploring things?" Nono questioned one thing after another. "I believe Genjutsu is a terrific way to explore fantasies. For instance, I tried recreating a dream where I had just fallen asleep, only to feel myself diving into an abyss. Our mind is bizarre, wouldn't you agree?"
Kai momentarily thought of the correct response after recalling last night's events. Bizarre… it might just be a dream.
"I suppose," he replied. "I don't really wake up when I have a similar dream of falling into an abyss. I think I sleep better during those dreams."
Nono blinked before scoffing a giggle.
"I'm glad I asked Tsunade-sama when she would apply for her team's promotion."
"Oh, yeah," Kai frowned. What was Nono's objective? "Why did you do that?"
He observed her gaze sparkle at the question.
"Because I—"
*Boom*
A loud explosion destroyed the Kame Clan's carriages parked near the mayor's manor.
"Put a pin on that," Kai instantly formed a hand seal and undid the Fuinjutsu on his body, unleashing his chakra reserves!
"Tsunade-Sensei will deal with the Jonin. Mikoto will handle the spy with Kushina's support. We have our job of capturing the remaining team."
Nono didn't voice her doubts when Tsunade delegated the responsibilities. Yet, she couldn't help but worry.
"Will the two of us be enough?"
Kai brightened at the question as he barked a laugh. "Don't be stupid. The only question we should consider is if the dregs Sensei left us would be enough to make our day!"
He flickered alongside Nono.

"Huhu, your beauty is as mesmerizing as ever, Mayor Jin," perversely chuckled a somewhat good-looking man who'd let go of his control and indulged in several vices as indicated by his flabby body and the unhealthy complexion tainting his skin.
Mikoto and Kushina watched everything from a distant, secretive room concealed by a one-sided mirror. Their skins crawled with disgust as they watched the masterful spy in his element. The duo observed the interaction, wary of the four servants behind the spy as they resisted the urge to undo the seal and use their sensory techniques. The team of Samurai was no laughing matter either. Though the Samurai, Ronin, and the Priests walked different ideologies, they all had access to Chakra Reserves and their mystical benefits.
The Samurai under the Noble Households and the Royalty were known to display skilled kenjutsu. Since they solely focused on the more offensive aspect of the chakra, coupled with being bold in their skills, the anointed Samurai and the dishonorably discharged Ronin boasted a terrifying mastery in Chakra Flow, Shape Transformation, and using the Chakra to temporarily boost their bodies to superhuman levels!
Unlike most Shinobi, the Samurai worked in teams. Unless ambushed, these swordsmen displayed admiral fighting skills and resistance against their hidden counterparts.
The Kame Clan and Iwagakure acted as the light and shadow to protect the useless scion. Their intel also revealed the Iwa team boasted one of the Explosion Release Kekkei Genkai users!
And Team 9 had to clutch a perfect record against these conditions.
They needed deception and—
*Boom*
The terrifying blast shook the mayor's manor, including the one-sided mirror the Uchiha-Uzumaki duo peered through. Tsunade's expression instantly changed for the worse as she suddenly grabbed the spy's hand, who wanted to continue his display of perversion by trying to grope Mayor Jin before tossing him with accurate precision.
Her other hand simultaneously formed a hand seal, suddenly turning the floor into a bluish, flesh-like surface starting from one of the four servants she identified as the Team's Leader. However, her opponents came prepared and had outstanding reactions. Iwa planned to explode the carriage, yet Tsunade managed to outperform and keep one Shinobi in place as the slime-like fleshy surface continued squirming and spreading.
"Identify yourself!" Screamed the Samurai's Leader, his blade already unsheathed as he jumped over the fleshy surface to attack Mayor Jin. The previously loyal group of Ronin instantly dashed backward, unwilling to fight others' battles since they were quick-witted enough or had already amassed enough experience to realize Lady Jin was captured or killed before the Kame Scion's arrival.
Tsunade scoffed. Samurai merely posed a challenge to ordinary Chunins. She didn't even fear the teams hailing from Land of Iron, the birthplace of one of the strongest Samurais, much less these inept excuses of wasted flesh and chakra.
She formed another seal, causing the flesh on the floor to instantly rise and turn into a massive cocoon around herself and the captured Shinobi, who didn't bother resisting.
*Chhkk*
The samurai's chakra-clad sword slashed against the wall of flesh, only to find it barely torn apart. A gooey substance oozed from the strange wound, instantly healing all the damage!
"What is this?" the Samurai snarled, reluctantly shifting his gaze from the massive cocoon to the upper floor as he watched two girls help up the scion he swore to protect. His eyes widened at the sight, for the scion was more than willing to accept the Konoha's Kunoichis' assistance!
"You traitor!" He roared and pointed at the trio with his sword, commanding his team. "Kill them!"
*Shiing*
Several blades left their sheathes with keen noises filling the air.
"Get down!" Mikoto hissed as Kushina suddenly grabbed the scion's collar and pulled him down. Three shurikens struck the spot where his head once was.
"Don't you have any instinct, dattebane?!" Kushina snapped. She glared at the sweat-coated man, suddenly recalling that he had no Shinobi training—one of the reasons he survived the spy purging in Iwa, Kumo, and Kiri.
"Konoha? So, our intel was correct. This pig was a spy," three figures flickered, appearing on the distant railings while maintaining a wary distance from the fleshy cocoon. Wearing red and brown, the three Chunins stared at Kushina.
"Uzumaki," their gaze brightened.
The Samurai team also rushed through the stairs. A few of them displayed their superhuman capabilities by jumping from the ground floor and landing near the opposed trio, surrounding Kushina, Mikoto, and the spy.
Kushina gripped her sword's handle with one hand, keeping the other clenched on the spy's shoulder despite the latter's expression twisting with pain. Meanwhile, Mikoto leveled her cautious glare at the enemy Chunins.
"Did your recent victories leave you stupid?" Mikoto smirked.
Her words instantly made the team of Samurai pause as they realized something.
"Do you mean your teammates?" One of the chunins sneered. He didn't move, displaying enough sense. However, he also used the same tactic to lower Mikoto's and Kushina's battle intent.
"Look around."
A wave of uncomfortable noise filled the manor as Kushina and Mikoto paled at the sight of tiny clay spiders crawling and breaking out from the structures around them. Tens of these clay figures covered the cocoon, leaving most creatures near the various entrances and exits!
Already aware of Explosion Release and its other supplementary abilities, the sight chilled the trio's hearts.
<<<>>>
Tsunade revealed her features as a gooey substance oozed from the fleshy walls, creating a somewhat awful stench.
"Is this a creature's insides? Such summons are rare, Lady Tsunade. Are you certain I won't kill your summon by destroying their…" The Iwa Jonin touched the liquid as he slowly pulled his feet out, revealing the darkened, almost stone-like toes. "Hmm, acidic fluids. We're inside a summon's stomach."
"Don't be so blunt," Tsunade smiled. "Katsuyu's a shy gal despite her voracity."
"P-Please stop talking about such things, Tsunade-sama," a quiet voice buzzed from Tsunade's pocket as the latter's smile widened, dispelling the smol Katsuyu and suddenly revealing her Chakra Reserves.
Katsuyu's existence allowed Tsunade to confidently strut as Lady Jin. However, the Iwa Team was already aware and prepared for the ambushes, making Tsunade's heart sink at its implications.
Meanwhile, the Iwa Shinobi's skin rapidly darkened as he spoke in a low tone. "We were aware of your ambush, Tsunade. Make it less painful for your team and yourself by surrendering."
"Aware?" Tsunade sneered, unmoved. "You wouldn't have been caught by the Summoning Jutsu if you knew who I was or forced to use the chakra-infused clay you hid using a fuinjutsu to surround this fleshy prison. You can use any number of explosives, but Katsuyu's regeneration is top-tier on the entire continent. Since the mission is a bust, I'll make things up by bringing your corpse."
"So, we had the same missions, eh?" The Iwa Shinobi maintained a smile despite feeling stressed. He instantly connected with the clay spiders outside to create multiple explosions. However, he didn't even feel any wave of vibrations inside!
"I told you," Tsunade shrugged. "You're dead. It's just a matter of time."
"Don't be so sure," the Iwa Shinobi snorted. A battle between tight confines wasn't his strongest suit. However, explosions inside the stomach were bound to hurt everyone—the Explosion Release Shinobi, Tsunade, and Katsuyu. Still, Tsunade chose the risk instead of letting the enemy enjoy his advantages by maintaining a safe distance.
'Anyway, Kai and others are prepared. Let's deal with things one step at a time.'

*Boom*
*Boom*
*Boom*
The spiders around the cocoon suddenly exploded, instantly causing the experienced Shinobi to move simultaneously. Red swirled within Mikoto's black pupils before a single tomoe graced her gaze, enhancing her reaction time as she deflected all the shurikens aimed at her and Kushina. Meanwhile, Kushina kicked the scion into the secretive room behind them, charging at the team of Samurais the next second!
"Hmph! Arrogant!"
The leader parried Kushina's tanto, hoping to slide a bit and slice her guts—
*Thud*
Kushina's tanto forced the man on his knees with a wild strength, curbing all of the latter's wild fantasies before she flipped midair, momentarily distracting the dazed Samurai Leader with flowing red hair—
*Slick*
The redhead's sword precisely beheaded the decorated Samurai before flickering onto her next prey. However, Mikoto didn't have it so easy.
She wielded two Kunais, weaving through attacks and evading the pincer tactic from two Chunins before hurriedly retreating near the secret room's entrance to protect the spy while aiming one of her kunais at Kushina.
*Ting*
The Uchiha's kunai intercepted a shuriken aimed for Kushina's thigh as the redhead continued to deal with Samurai, leaving a trail of blood, guts, and heads redder than her hair!
A Chunin joined the Samurai to maintain their advantage, instantly forcing Kushina back. Meanwhile, Mikoto continued avoiding or intercepting the remaining duo's long-ranged attacks until one of them pulled back, forming swift hand seals.
Mikoto's Sharingan instantly rotated as she formed a hand seal—
Lightning Release: Serpent!
A bolt of yellow lightning crackled into life around the chunin before snapping Mikoto's direction after assuming a snake's form—
Poof!
Her body exploded into a plume of smoke, leaving a charred log behind—
"Aggghh!"
The Chunin, mingling with a few samurai, screamed alongside the nearby enemies as a massive ball of flames emerged beside them, consuming them whole. Licks of fire spread to the railings and the wooden floor.
"We're supposed to capture them," Kushina panicked as Mikoto hissed. "Shut up! Sense Kai-chan's location!"
The Uchiha looked pale as Kushina hurriedly pulled back, deflecting the crazed barrage of attacks while suddenly sensing something…
Monstrous.

*Bzzt*
"We didn't cause the explosion. Was Iwagakure aware of our arrival?" Nono frowned as they flickered through the town.
*Bzzt*
*Crash*
Kai didn't pay much attention to these details. All he knew was something went wrong. The what and the how were the future Kai's concerns. The current him only desired evaluating the enemies and seeing if anyone was entertaining enough.
Also, Kai sensed another moment of chakra seeping from Nono's body. He sensed it a few hours into their journey—Nono was compromised. He didn't know how, but Nono acted like a sonar for a third party, constantly releasing a very discreet pulse of chakra from the bottom of her feet into the ground, mostly unknown to others. However, the [Two Symbols Protection] allowed Kai to locate the source of this tracking back to Nono.
She was either a spy or an unknowing accomplice in the act.
Either way, Tsunade wanted Kai to keep a check on Nono. This was one reason why Tsunade had such a quick reaction. She was already wary about things going wrong, even expecting the circumstances to do so.
Anyway, Kai had yet to sense anything—
*Bzzt*
*Crackle*
Kai and Nono heard the crackling lightning a moment too late as their gazes fell on the long, bluish trail cutting through the city and its population alike, leaving the scene of carnage—
It was already upon Nono!
Kai yanked the shocked girl away, or so he tried. The lightning suddenly dissipated, revealing the form it once cloaked, allowing the red-haired kunoichi to travel kilometers in the distance without caring about the obstacles. Her strange sword was already in motion; the wicked grin displayed her sharp teeth, and her dark hues glistened with erratic joy as the sword's edge neared Kai's extended arm.
'Damn, she's hot…' Kai might genuinely have a thing for the reds.
*CLANG*
The sword clashed against the arm— no longer a human's arm. Steel Armadillo's plated hide protected the arm, strangely resembling a human's limb!
*Whoosh*
The sheer impact from the clash tossed Kai and Nono away as the former's left arm ached and throbbed intensely. Kai didn't need a medic's expertise to realize his arm sported a few fractures. It was still a favorable outcome compared to having his arm chopped into a stump!
"So, that's your weird Transformation Jutsu—" The Kunoichi began, dual-wielding a pair of strange-looking swords.
The sight paled Nono as she knew the enemy wearing the Kiri's Forehead Protector.
'No time for chatter, hot stuff,' Kai grinned back, matching the same energy as the foe without all the crackling lightning as the redhead suddenly felt something amiss.
*Boom*
Explosive Senbons, covered by a surface befitting a mirror using Transformation Jutsu during the sudden clash, snuck past the Kunoichi's range, exploding at her face!
"She's," Nono's body froze with cold sweat streaming down her forehead. Kai didn't blame her reaction. Yet, he didn't need a deadweight. It might be risky sending Nono back, but it was riskier to keep her around.
"Go and help the rest," Kai spoke plainly as the dust settled, revealing the Kunoichi standing a few meters from the explosive range. The speed was shocking as is.
"I… I understand," Nono didn't put any airs and nodded. She realized Kai's intentions. "I'll go get Tsunade-sama."
'Take your time,' Kai mused, not taking his eyes off the enemy as his left arm limped beside him.
Only when Nono was out of earshot did Kai exhale.
"Why is one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist after me?" Kai inquired, already learning about Kunoichi's intention from the few words she spoke. Such perception would leave Tsume crazed! So, the Alpha can understand everything under the sky but not his loyal followers' intentions?!
"Why not?" The Kunoichi grinned smugly. "I'd say Kiri's target on your back seems to be on the mark. Your arm's still attached, and that girl's still breathing. I rarely fail my assassinations."
"You want to kill Nono?" Kai snickered. "Why? Did someone tell you to? Are you the one who's afraid, or this job's employer?"
"What?" The Kunoichi narrowed her eyes.
"The thing inside Nono," Kai shrugged. "You don't want it exposed, right? You must have followed us, sensing the traces Nono left behind. Say, you're pretty famous, Ameyuri Ringo, wielder of those Kiba Swords."
"I know," Ameyuri smiled. "I heard some stuff about you, too, kid."
"Did you?" Kai brightened visibly. "So?"
"So?"
Ameyuri blinked, maintaining a cautious sensory range after Kai almost caught her by surprise.
"Wanna join my harem?"
Ameyuri's smile froze as Kai waited. The distant wails and the river of blood left by Ameyuri during her sudden dash from a few kilometers away failed to attract the duo standing on two different roofs.
"What?" She inquired. "Repeat that for me."
"My harem. Sensei's already a part of it," Kai lied as he breathed, simultaneously buying time—not for Tsunade. "She says I'm the best man for the job. How about you? Want the privilege of sharing me with others?"
Ameyuri's lips slowly parted before she muttered, "Holy Shit… you're crazier than I am. Do you actually believe you can pull me? Kid! I'm here to capture you alive, limbs be damned! No way I'm ever shagging a weak bitch, much less a kid like you!"
Kai crossed his arms.
"Weak? Kid? You look like you're not that older than me."
And it suddenly hit Ameyuri…
His arms were crossed.
Her body bolted into action as Kai snickered, sporting a surprisingly healed left arm.
"You're going to pay!" Kai flickered with surprising dexterity, instantly dodging a sword slash as he avoided the slightly elongated horn-like blades on the Kiba Sword's base and tip.
"I don't know what you're on about, crazy!" Lightning danced around her swords as she pointed at Kai, shooting a stream of lightning that struck him, instantly leaving a splintered and shattered wooden log alongside some smoke!
'Where did he go?' Ameyuri frowned. She wasn't a skilled sensor but had some techniques to manage and survive. However, there weren't many spots to hide since the duo battled on the roof.
She suddenly felt something and struck the distant ledge.
*Crash*
"That's the wrong spot," laughed a voice.
*Bzzt*
"Ooh! Almost caught me~!"
Ameyuri's frown deepened before she grew calm. The lightning around her blade ceased and dissipated before she exhaled.
*Shiing*
She struck with a keen sound cutting through the air, suddenly tearing chunks of the roof.
*Boom*
*Boom*
*Boom*
The rubble exploded, causing several shards to fly back as Kai sighed and continued speaking from the distance, holding a mic in his hands. "All that effort wasted. Do you realize how long it takes me to carve those Senbons with explosive seals?!"
Ameyuri snarled, "Show yourself!"
"Well, it took me a minute each."
Kai continued.
He wasn't Ameyuri's match. Crazy as he might be, Kai knew his limits… which were surprisingly little. However, the current Ameyuri was off the charts, and Kai had to rely on other things to stabilize the situation instantly.
And it annoyed him.
It truly annoyed him.
Strangely enough, the mic in his hand was invisible, like the senbons from before.
"There you are!" Ameyuri's head snapped in Kai's direction as she flickered with a trail of lightning in her steps.
'Hmm, how did she find me?' Kai mused, flapping his wings and flying up. 'Ah, electricity.'
Kai remained hidden from the view.
He couldn't really maintain the same pace because it had one weakness—
"Fuck it!"
Thick lightning bolts suddenly crackled and spread throughout as more shouts echoed from below. The Town was panicking as Ameyuri pointed her swords toward the manor.
—Ameyuri could always target others.
'But who'd put a bounty on me? I haven't even done anything weird yet.'
Kai flicked his wrists, sending regular senbons aimed at Ameyuri's head—
"There!"
She might not see it, but she was wary of it. Her hand suddenly pointed in Kai's general direction as a massive pillar of lightning spread into thin branches, bouncing off the Senbons and spreading even further, trying to strike the invisible Kai!
However, her other hand was still pointed at the manor—
*Poof*
"There you are, short stuff."
Kai instantly crossed his wings above his chest from behind as the feathers condensed and turned heavy like a tough hide, blocking the sudden attack as Ameyuri emerged from one of the branched bolts of lightning!
*Crash*
She knocked the breath out of Kai's lungs as he cratered before flickering away, indifferent to the pain.
*Crackle*
Lightning struck the spot a fraction of a second after the fact as Kai exhaled, gazing at the smirking Ameyuri.
"You sensed electrical signals in my body," Kai appeared guarded but added the skill as one of the things to eventually learn and master.
"Quick to catch on," Ameyuri scoffed.
"Must have a short range," Kai hummed, his arms aching after blocking that attack. Indeed, he was nowhere near Ameyuri in terms of physical strength. "Or you wouldn't have needed Nono."
"What did you do?" Ameyuri suddenly stopped and glanced at her left arm, which had struck Kai a moment before. She sensed something amiss brewing within her chakra coils.
"What's this?" She narrowed her eyes, sensing the external chakra mixed with her reserves to the point of perfection. However, her experience and instincts proved to be more frightening than Kai anticipated since she was like a wild beast, instantly noticing Kai's ploy.
"Hmm? It's like Mystic Hands…" Ameyuri's gaze grew guarded. "Why did you use the Mystic Hands to refill my Chakra Reserves? It's not like Genjutsu, brat. You cannot control my body like Suna's puppets."
Kai clicked his tongue. That wasn't what he wished to perform, but he failed nonetheless.
Body, Mind, and Perception—Ameyuri was a beast in all these categories, including Chakra Control and the mastery of Lightning Nature Transformation, something Kai hadn't even touched. As an Elite Jonin, she must also have outstanding skills in Shape Transformation.
'It's just speed and perception… I can copy it, right?'
Ameyuri's eyes widened as Kai's eyes literally changed in the next seconds. Instead of two pupils, a pair of insectoid compound eyes started down the Kunoichi, followed by a plume of smoke suddenly covering Kai before he…
Disappeared?
Again?
Ameyuri's instincts screeched as she raised her swords, blocking a frightening claw crackling with lightning aimed to immobilize her!
*Kshaaa*
The sudden roar formed waves of disruptive impacts as if Kai's vocal cords had been modified to the peak. What Ameyuri saw left her speechless—
*Bang*
A pillar-like attack from Kai's crotch finally caught Ameyuri lacking as something hard hit her neck—
*Bzzt*
Her body suddenly dispersed into lightning as it struck Kai instead—
*Poof*
Another wooden log turned into dust!
The high-paced battle would have many feeling nauseous, yet two figures clashed against each other, emboldened by lightning and gracing a trail of soul-numbing thunder as several structures broke apart under the attacks. Lightning dragons struck Kai, but he evaded them beforehand as he read all of Ameyuri's attacks. Several individuals lost their lives, yet Kai barely had any time to think about others. All he knew was that the population was an outstanding meat shield as any!
