Chapter 22 - 22) Heavenly complex

I went to the marketplace to get good equipment. The street markets are just for the poor people. Since I have money I went into the heavenly complex. Heavenly Complex buys and sells everything that drops from a dungeon. From equipment to scrolls they have everything. But the price they charge for each item is high.

They guarantee that all of the stuff they sell works properly. Although some marketplaces outside sell at a cheaper rate there is no guarantee that they are not trying to scam people. I went in to buy a good Mage Set equipment.

Set equipments are equipments that give special effects when all of the equipments of the set are worn. For example, if I wear a goblin shaman robe with a goblin shaman staff it gives me additional buffs which I will not get if I wear only one of the said equipments.

I used a crude sword for air slash and the Goblin shaman's staff I got from my first dungeon whenever I cast magic. The effects of the staff are too low for my current level so it's time to buy some good stuff.

I went inside the complex and was greeted by an Elven woman. She asked, " What would you like to buy sir? ". I replied, " I would like to buy agility-based Mage equipment". She nodded her head and said, "Please come this way, sir ". She took me to a place and asked me " What level range are you expecting the equipment to be, sir? ".

I replied, " I want the equipment to be in the Level range of 25 to 35 ". She looked at the equipment and said " There are 2 sets of mage equipment that are agility-based and are at that level range ".

The 2 sets were called the Spectral set and the Enchanted Gale set. Their set effects were good but when I asked for the price they were 2 platinum coins for each set. Damn it, The prices are already in platinum coins when they are just equipment that can be used until level 35. But the effects are so good that I don't want to give up on them.

Just like Classes, equipment is also ranked as Common, Rare, Epic and legendary. Common equipment like Goblin shaman's staff do not have any set effects. Just one piece of legendary equipment is always auctioned so finding a legendary set is even rarer than awakening a unique class.

I asked the Elven woman " Why is the epic set priced the same as the rare set? ". The woman replied " That is because the Epic set has gloves in them. Normally a person can equip up to 10 rings. But if they equip gloves they can only equip 1 ring on each hand. Due to this many people don't prefer this set. Otherwise, this set would cost 10 platinum coins. Almost all epic sets cost above 10 platinum coins".

I chose to buy the spectral set. I only wore a single ring and am not rich enough to buy 10 rings so I asked her if there are any good rings. She replied " All the rings are always auctioned so if you want to buy a ring then please attend the Auction scheduled this afternoon ".
