ON THE OUTSIDE

One of the judges said, " Who the hell is this guy? He finished the whole exam in 50 minutes". Another judge said, "He only took 5 minutes to complete the last level which is supposed to take 50 minutes". One of the Judges from the top academy said " Just how many skills does he have? I want to know more about his class ".

The judges only came to see if no one was cheating during the exams. But that was only in the name, they were truly here to scout people with good potential into their academy.

I killed the WereBear and fainted as I was being teleported outside. I woke up in the Medical ward prepared for the Mentally exhausted people who lost their will to fight after getting scared by the monsters inside. This ward also has some first-aid potions for emergency uses or for people who use up all their Mana and Stamina inside and faint while being teleported outside.

The nurse saw that I woke up and asked me if I was alright. I nodded my head and she said "Some people are waiting to meet you outside. Should I call the-"? Before the nurse finished her sentence a Tall and muscular man kicked the door open and said " Yo brat. It seems like you are up. Come join our Power Academy ". What the hell? Does this senior not know manners?

" Mr Carlos, don't disturb him and let him get some rest as he just finished the exam " said a familiar voice. It was the Sage from before. Mr Jack was also standing along with a man who looked like he was in his 50s.

This Carlos guy looked at the man in his 50s, apologised to him and left. My Curiosity was written all over my face. Mr Jack said, " Benjamin, this is the Lord of the Goblin City, Meet Mister Hercules ".

If the lord of the city came to meet me personally does that mean I got first place in the city rankings? I asked Mr Jack out of curiosity and he laughed while the others giggled trying to cover their face.

I was worried I didn't even make it to the City rankings and the City Lord saw right through me. He said " You did not rank first just in this city but you ranked first in the entire country. Obviously, the results are not out yet but you just surpassed the time that took for last year's Country rank number one by 1 hour ".

Damn, I thought I was slow. I guess I overestimated the ones that awakened a Unique class like me. The City Lord also said, " With that said if I take more of your time, these guys will be very annoyed ". The City lord moved aside and three people walked into the room including Carlos.

Carlos said " I am Carlos. My Power Academy is ranked top 3 in the Academy rankings but we are the best when it comes to clearing dungeons. If you come to our academy we will give you a separate Room and 1 beginner flash skill scroll along with a Rare Mage set of levels 35 to 50".

Another person said " If that is all you can offer then move. I am Brock and I come from the Stonewall Academy which is ranked top 2 in the academic leaderboards. We defend the Walls around the Demon area. We will also take you inside the area and give you fighting experience 3 times a year. The rewards you get from clearing the dungeons on the Demonised areas belong to you ".

A tall woman came next. She said " I am Linda, I come from the top-ranked Roaring Lions academy. If you come to our academy we will allow you to visit the demonised area whenever you want as long as you are strong enough. We will also give you 2 Flash skill scrolls and we will let a blacksmith craft a set that is unique to your fighting style ".

The other judges protested saying " You are giving too much for a newbie. Besides if you let him enter the area as much as possible won't he die if he gets overconfident ". The lady didn't pay attention and asked me about my choice. I said, " It looks like I am joining the Roaring Lions Academy". The other judges left and the lady said " Good choice. We will leave tomorrow morning so be prepared ".
