I am Benjamin Benett. My friends call me Ben. I live in a world of fantasy where our whole life is a game. In this world swords and magic exist. My mom shouts "Get ready Ben or you are going to be late for school. Today is the class selection day don't miss it". I replied " I am coming Mom" and rushed downstairs. In this world, you train from the age of 15 to choose your path. Here your level determines your worth. You can level up by killing monsters or producing stuff related to your class only after selecting your class. You can only select your class at the age of 18. Until then you can't level up no matter how much you try.
Stats are important too. There are 6 stats in total STR, VIT, DEX, INT, CHA, and LUC which describe strength, vitality, dexterity/agility, intelligence, charisma and luck respectively. Everyone has a base stat total of 10. You can increase STR, VIT, INT and DEX by training. The other 2 stats can only be increased using unallocated stats you obtain from levelling up
All stats have their use so choosing the right stats to focus on upgrading is important. For example, a close-range fighter needs to improve their strength stat which deals physical damage and a long-range fighter needs to increase their intelligence stat which helps them precisely hit the enemy and can deal physical/magical damage depending on the class.
I ate my breakfast and rushed to my school. The class ceremony is a yearly thing where those who have reached the age of 18 make choices. During the class ceremony, we get assigned a class based on our stats. In our school, we are always taught that increasing 2 stats the most while levelling up or training is better. No matter which class we get assigned we can manage ourselves if we focus on 2 stats. The drawback is that you have chances of getting a class that you do not want. If I have high intelligence and dexterity stats then I might get a magic assassin class / agility-based archer/agility-based mage.
These are just the classes that most people get I haven't even gone through the rarity of each class. Each classes are ranked common, rare, epic, legendary and unique. Getting a high rarity class depends on your luck in which the luck stat does not even play a role.
I have a secret that is I am from another world. It isn't worth mentioning as I was just a shut-in gamer. I plan on becoming an agility-type mage. Although it may look like the starting point for all the rarity of different there is a level cap for each rarity. The higher the rarity the harder it is to level up. This does not mean this world is fair as there is a column in our status window called innate talent.
It would be faster to just show you. " System open my status window". π π‘πππππ π€π₯ππ₯π¦π€ π¨ππππ π¨

You can increase your stats up to 18 before choosing a class. While I was deep in thinking I reached my school on foot. After catching my breath I went inside the school to meet my friend Ricky. We were both aiming to be mages. Ricky said, " Are you crazy? You barely made it to the ceremony Can't you wake up early for once bro". Before I could answer Brian who overheard our conversation says " It won't matter because no matter how much you struggle you won't get far without money". Ricky gets mad but I tell him to control his feelings.
Brian is from a rich family and he can afford the fees of top academies. The only way for us to get into the top academies is through scholarships. We hear a loud bell and a voice of an oldman who asks us to gather. It looks like the class awakening ceremony has begun. I hope I get a good class mage class so that I can make Brian eat his own words.
