Chapter 24 - Season 1 Chapter 12: "New Semester and Leveling Up Part 2"

(2nd Day of the 2nd Week of January 2018 --- Morning --- Building B Cafeteria)

Accel is reading and studying while eating his favorite morning breakfast that is Corned Beef with Rice and Egg as always. He checked daily his stats if there was improvement from yesterday, but only little. His strength and dexterity attributes only increased a little.

(MagiTech Watch Message Notifications)

Miss Sakura: "Good morning, Accel. You don't need to be with me this week. I have lessons from the Noble Society Department. Thank you!"

(End)

Accel: "Nice! I can concentrated training solo in the dense forest and also increase my good deeds as much as possible."

After Accel received the message notifications from Miss Sakura. He continued his delicious breakfast and ready to head out to the National Association...

(Few Hours Later --- National Association --- Reception Desk)

Accel: "Good morning, Miss Receptionist. I would like to take 3 E-Rank Quest."

The Receptionist checks my player's card for confirmation and gave the quests through the MagiTech Watch, they are:

1. Defeat 10 Undead Soldiers and 10 Undead Archers.

2. Defeat 5 Mutant Goblins.

3. Investigate the situation in the Dense Forest.

Accel: "Huh? Is there something happening in the Dense Forest?"

Miss Receptionist: "Yes, more monsters and wild animals are running rampant this days and has been doing this for the past 2 weeks, all you need is to scout and investigate, if something goes wrong escape immediately, that is all the current information we have."

Accel: "Okay, thank you. What will be my total rewards for this?"

Miss Receptionist: "Your total rewards are:"

1. VP 150 (PHP 1500)

2. New Sword (Uncommon Tier)

3. Good Deed will increase by 1.

(Note: The higher the good deeds the better.)

Miss Receptionist: "Your current good deeds are 5. As a beginner of this, it is a good start already, you have not a single bad deeds. Once you reach 10 good deeds, the National Association will give you benefits. Good luck then, student Accel of NMA."

Accel: "Thank you again, Miss Receptionist."

After talking and discussing to the receptionist. He confirm his quest start and head towards the dense forest, he plans to defeat some monsters before dealing the quest to at least level up his skills, abilities, and levels for the upcoming exam that is "Battle Royale".

(An Hour Later --- Dense Forest --- Outer Part --- Outpost 10)

After arriving at the outpost and entering the other parts of the dense forest. I rested and organize the things for going out the outpost. There are many outpost like this to keep track the monsters or wild animals running rampant, but it seems there is so many players and outpost guards station here.

Well, you know the reason already, something is going on at the dense forest were monsters and wild animals or even unknown entities might come out. According from the outpost guards, monsters or entities are rather much active and running wild at the dense forest, that is why the National Association has made the dense forest a Yellow Zone.

The National Association also dispatch multiple B-Rank Party Groups and A-Rank Party Groups, meaning to say the situation is very not good because something bad will happened at the dense forest. According to the outpost, adventure ranks that are lower than C-Rank can only be at the outer part of the dense forest not the inner part or the center of it.

After this news to me, I went out the outpost and roam the dense outer forest looking for monsters so that I could defeat them and level up. After few minutes, I run into a small group of goblins, of course dealing them is much easier than my previous encounter from the Northern Fortress Incident, but...

For some reason, the group of goblins where a bit stronger than ordinary ones. When I check there stats information, they have been all place to "Frenzy Mode".

(Note: "Frenzy Mode" or similar states are often referred to by various terms such as "Berserk Mode," "Enrage Mode," "Rampage," or simply "Frenzy." These states are typically characterized by a significant increase in the monsters' aggression, strength, and overall threat level.)

According to the Data from the MagiTech Watch, there are different types of Frenzy Level to determined the differenced between with or without the Frenzy Mode, they are:

There are higher Frenzy Mode Levels, but that will be discuss in the near future. Examples of our Frenzy Mode from VI to X are International Bosses and World Bosses. But, they have been to quiet since the last 50 to 100 years ago from the Pacific Ocean and the Antarctica.

Resting and Sleeping, though we have been monitoring them for the last decades and centuries but there was not yet a single movement, but maybe or maybe not in the near future they will, that is why Humanity need to prepare despite the separation of the fractions.

They are other fractions that wants to destroy the world and the entire human race, but they have been well hidden this past decades and have not yet reveal themselves to the world...
