While Kurao is talking to his mother. The Grandhall that was full of people had been completely emptied after Kurao left to check in with Ella.
The discussion between his step siblings that were still left in the hall after him leaving without alerting them was continuing their conversation.
"So how was E.M.U Nolaya? Actually never mind that, did you see the Xetal 2nd Prince? I heard he came to check the competition before the Grand Alliance Tournament.
I also heard he is incredibly handsome and talented in Earth Element is that true?" Aila asked
Nolaya still concerned on the topic of Ella broke out of thoughts for a moment over Aila making conversation.
"Uhhh, Yea he is very talented in Earth Element but I have only ever talked to him once since he's the captain of Xetal Team I gave him a tour around campus. Since I am the representative of
Eversky Magica Univeristy. Although I didn't really like the way he was trying to suck up to me during the tour. He is kind of stupid from the interactions I had with him."
"I wonder if mother will agree to setting up a marriage proposal between me and him if I asked her to set one up."
Alia said, not caring what Nolaya just said about him seemingly in her own idea about the Xetal Prince.
Nolaya looked at the thoughtful look on Aila face, she forgot how much more self obsessed Aila was and a little bit offended over Aila caring more about the Prince of Xetal then how she was doing.
While Aila was going on about herself she remembered Kurao said Ella her mentor was sick before Aila took her off track.
Turning her head away from Aila, Nolaya asks
"Elyse want to come with me to Miss Ella room?"
But as she turned Elyse wasn't where she was before talking to Aila, Nolaya looked around the Grand Hall and couldn't see Elyse anywhere. Seeing that she wasn't in the hall anymore she looks around for the little boy with silver hair and realizes that he is also no longer in the hall as well.
"Where did Kurao go?" Nolaya asked moving her gaze back to Aila.
"Probably to check on that abusive mother of his." replied Aila who broke out her one sided conversation of earlier.
Not caring about what Kurao was doing, she tried to drag her half-sister Nolaya out of the hall and towards her room.
Nolaya on the other hand stopped in place looking strangely at her after her comment.
"What do you mean abusive? Ella isn't abusive I have known her for more then a decade now. She may be cold if you don't know her, but she isn't violent."
Nolaya quickly said defending Ella on what Aila was claiming about her mentor.
"It's exactly as I said she has been acting crazy harming all the servants that deliver food and clean the rooms randomly. Verbally assaulting her child and the rest of the family with slanderous
claims. She even froze Step-Mother Ionese's hand to the point we had to use a Grade 8 Healing Potion to heal her frostbitten hands."
Aila sighed thinking it was such a waste of such a high grade potion, and not really for Ionese's injury.
Nolaya upon hearing her sister was feeling skeptic upon hearing all of these claims, she even started thinking Aila was talking about a different person, since she knows her mentor would never act so hazardly.
She spent a whole lot of time training under her to hone her Ice Element Variant spell usage, she was nothing but caring and helpful to teach her how to effectively wield the element variant and didn't see her ever act in a offensive way
with anyone else.
Aila was just looking at the motionless Nolaya and saw that she wasn't moving.
"Hey Nolaya stop worrying about insignificant things! Come on I have to show you the new jewelry that my brother gave me that came from the east war front."
"Are you sur-" Before Nolaya could finish the impatient Aila decides to ignore the mental knots of her half-sister was having, and dragged her arm towards her room.
