All of the people gathered stare in awe at Kurao some even rapidly blinking their eyes trying to see if what they witness was all real over the expectation exceeding results of Kurao's elemental affinity.
After what seemed like an eternity of silence it was broken by a young girl with blonde hair that reached past her shoulders while pointing and laughing at the blue haired boy that had his mouth gaped open.
"Hahaha, Looks like Kurao has more talent then even father! What were you saying Awoa something about Kurao affinity being at best a mid-grade talent?" The girl said as she also overheard Awoa's comments about Kurao earlier.
"S-Shut up Elyse I didn't say rubbish about it" Awoa stuttered attempting to reign his words he spoke a short while ago.
"Awoa stop lying everyone in the hall could hear you cry about Kurao, also father looked like he's gonna faint from how shocking Kurao's magic talent is."
The young girl excessively exaggerated the Emperor's expression in a attempt to praise Kurao.
Kurao who just snapped out of his meditative state hears this and looks back at his father and sees a shine in his eyes that wasn't present earlier.
Kurao seeing this, forms a bright smile on his face, as he feels he has gotten his father's attention.
'Hehe.. Father now that I am shown to be this gifted you will now show me the attention you never gave any of my other siblings.'
inwardly snickering at how he got the man that never showed any emotion to show some, even if it wasn't drastic. While he was in his thoughts another shout broke Kurao out of his fantasies and back to reality.
"Elyse did you just insult father by demeaning his stature? You speak lies and falsehoods in father's presence, how dare you!"
Shouted a young woman that had curve to her beautiful figure accompanied with her dark chocolate brown hair and mint green eyes, she angrily pointed at the young girl
A man with dark brown hair in a ponytail and a big build with mint green eyes as well, mocked the young woman who just shouted, as he defended the little blonde girl.
"Don't pick on Elyse, Aila just because you are still upset at her for snitching on you."
The man with dark brown hair and mint green eyes was the woman's twin brother, which she was at odds with consitently. Seeing that she was about to shout at him he raised his voice while also telling a bit of gossip,
"Just cause your fiancé canceled the marriage after finding out about your adultery from the words of Little Elyse. Also can you not yell you sound like a damn harpy, my ears are sensitive over how much you yap."
he gave a slight smirk while putting a finger in his ear as if he was defending his ears.
The young woman with dark brown hair, Aila angrily redirected her pointed finger at the man with a ponytail and shouted once again.
"Alex you take that back! I did not commi--"
Her words are cut mid sentence as all sound in the hall as if it just disappeared.
The reason for the sudden silence was the Emperor. He silences the hall instantly by taking the air out of the room for a moment suffocating some of the people in the hall while some fall to their knees, before anyone could blackout he returns the air as if it never left the hall to begin with. The glimmer in his eyes passing as he stared coldly at Alex and Aila the brown haired duo.
After returning the air to the room, some of the younger people in the room gasp for air before regaining their baring's. Everyone gazes at the emperor waiting for him to speak. A few seconds passed in silence no one making a sound except for the few trying to regain the air they lost trying to not make the same incident happen again for angering the man.
The Emperor sweeps his vision across the hall watching all the expressions on the people gathered and Kurao who seemed suffer as well from the action also seemed to recover faster then some of the people in the room which was feat since almost everyone in the room were awakened. The Emperor sees this and then glances down at the few broken orb pieces on the marble stand before it instantly disappears, as the light and glimmer returns to the Emperor's eyes as he turns towards Kurao who was now back to normal condition.
"Well done boy, I have to say you are definitely my son with how talented you are, this revelation has definitely made up my time here to be able to witness such a event. You will have to train to make sure that your talent will be of use to our glorious empire. I will fund your training and get you the best tutor I know. I have an old friend that can help turn you from a boy to a man with the right determination."
The Emperor puts his hand on Kurao's shoulder while his demeanor remains unchanged "But since he is not in the empire at the moment I will give you guidance on how to use your element and fully awaken your mana tomorrow so you can get started."
He stops speaking, then puts his other hand on Kurao shoulder before staring at him with his cold eyes that seemed to turn into blue diamonds since the revelation of Kurao's talent reveal.
"Remember there is no free lunch in this world, even if you are my son. I am expecting you to put your talent to use for our great empire and repay the homeland that will foster you."
People is the hall gasp hearing that the emperor will personally give Kurao guidance, well only a small few nod with what the Emperor said as if what he said was expected since knowing that Kurao's talent is so extortionary and would require the proper guidance to start, especially from the most renowned Elementalist.
He stares into the eyes of Kurao for a while, then breaking contact with the boy he started slowly walking out of the hall while sweeping his eyes before landing on the man with dark brown hair who had his head lowered slightly trying not to embarrass himself further, Alex seeing his father's attention tries to recover the embarrassment from earlier as he tries to rely some good news.
"Father, my team and I have just made a massive break through on the Mist Project you assigned me."
The Emperor just stared for a moment and then nodded.
"Alex I want the progress report on Mist in my study before evening."
"As you command father." replies Alex who left quickly out the hall to go complete his task while giving a smile to Kurao and a thumbs up, seemingly proud of his little half brother.
Then the Emperor turns to face the young man with reddish-purple hair, Soleil.
He pauses seemingly thinking about something as his eyes turn dead on his indifferent face, he asks.
"Soleil you just returned from the Xetal Empire on the East Front, Correct?"
"Yes Father I returned just this morning."
Giving a salute and speaking in a tone of reverence as he was talking to the most powerful man in his eyes.
"I expect you to meet me in my study in 15 minutes so you can tell me about the situation on the East War Front."
"Yes Father!"
Soleil replies instantly before the Emperor leaves under the gazes of everyone in the hall as they all switched their gazes bakc to Kurao who was just still recovering.
