Chereads / Felix's Magical Odyssey / Chapter 9 - 1.9

Chapter 9 - 1.9

"ALARM, STUDENTS, ALARM!" Professor Nightshade's voice echoed through the halls, accompanied by the blaring "wohoo wohoo" of the alarm. The sound grew louder, becoming an insistent "wohooohooo."

Felix, Rowan, Thorn, Flint, and Flate woke up to find the mist, yellow and red, creeping through the corridors. The alarm blared louder, "ALARM, STUDENTS, ALARM!" Panic ensued as every student ran down the hall, their footsteps echoing in the chaos.

In the midst of the turmoil, the only person who remained calm was Evander Frost. He stood still, a peculiar book in his hand, seemingly unaffected by the panic around him.

They were all in the hall when Athena came running to Felix, Rowan, Thorn, Flate, and Flint. "Guys, something is wrong," Athena said, out of breath.

Flint asked, "Yeah, what is happening?"

They noticed Evander standing with a smirk on his face, clearly enjoying the chaos. Rowan said, "Do you guys think he did something?"

Athena replied, "Well, this has never happened before, but since he's here, it does!"

Evander whispered to Melody, "This is fun, all the losers running around."

Melody asked, "Ev, what did you do?"

Evander only laughed and said, "Don't worry about that."

Sylvan said, "Dude, seriously, if you've brought trouble again, your father is going to-"

Then Evander interrupted, saying, "Mate, don't worry about it. I've got everything under control. And if you really want to know, I didn't cause any trouble. I just find it funny how they react."

Melody then chimed in, "Yeah, sure. Do you believe it yourself?"

Evander reassured, "Melly, Syl, don't worry about the whole situation. Just chill and smile." They sat as if everything was okay.

Meanwhile, Professor Nightshade's voice boomed over the microphone, "Students, I have bad news. There is a time travel situation that isn't going so great."

A curious student questioned, "Professor Nightshade, how do you know this is time travel?"

Professor Nightshade explained, "Do you see the orange and red mist?" The student confirmed, "Yes, Professor."

"That means someone has activated the time amulet," Professor Nightshade continued. "It signifies that someone from the future or someone from the past has traveled here. Red and yellow mist does not signify something good."

As the yellow and red mist dissipated, they spotted a figure approaching the school, clearly out of breath. Struggling to maintain balance, the person stumbled and fell. Professor Nightshade swiftly directed the other professors to assist the individual, and they hurried to his aid. Despite the confusion among the students, Evander couldn't help but smirk knowingly.

Sure, here's a revised version with improved grammar and clearer phrasing:

"The person was in the healer's room when people started asking questions. Athena asked, 'Who is he?' Professor Nightshade answered, 'I don't know.' Then, Evander accidentally laughed louder. Everyone looked at him, and Professor Nightshade asked, 'What did you do, Mr. Frost?' Evander replied, 'Well, I didn't do anything.' Professor Nightshade then asked, 'Then why are you laughing?' Evander explained, 'Well, Professor, it's obvious. He just came from the Autinium War. You can tell by the uniform he's wearing, plus his face looked funny, Professor.'"

"The Autinium War," a student inquired, "what is that?"

Evander replied, "The Autinium War was a conflict that occurred 300 years ago. It was a battle fought against the lord of the Lightanders."

Athena inquired, "Do you mean the war that nobody speaks about?"

Evander nodded, affirming, "Yes, that's the one. But there's a rumor circulating that the lord of the Lightanders may still be alive."

Melody, her curiosity piqued, asked, "Will there be another war then?"

Evander responded with a solemn tone, "Let's hope it won't happen."

Melody and Athena, along with everyone else, wore expressions of concern as Evander suddenly burst into laughter. "I can't help it," he managed between laughs, "your faces are just too funny! Seriously, are you all really worried about a war that happened 300 years ago?"

Athena, attempting to maintain composure, responded, "Well, you did mention there's a rumor that he might still be alive."

Evander clarified, "I said 'might be.' I didn't confirm anything."

Felix voiced his concern, "But what will happen if another war does come?"

Evander pondered for a moment before replying, "Well, Ravenwood, during the other war, people fainted, and then he took all their powers. He almost won if someone hadn't tried to kill him and his team. But if he's still alive and tries to start a war, you'll first hear a little song, and then he'll come. So, don't worry about it."

"How are you so calm now!" Rowan screamed.

Evander shrugged, replying, "I've seen much funnier things than this."

Melody whispered to Evander, "Ev, don't snitch on us."

Evander whispered back, "Hey, I didn't say anything about it."

"Both of you, don't try to fight. We're all friends here," Sylvan intervened.

Melody and Evander sighed in unison, both saying, "No fun."

Evander stood up abruptly, announcing, "I'm going to the WC."

Professor Nightshade nodded, "Come back when you're done."

Thorn then stood up and declared, "I need to go too."

Professor Nightshade repeated, "Come back when you're done."

As Evander headed towards the WC, Thorn grabbed him and pushed him against the wall. Evander screamed, "What the bloody hell are you trying to do?"

Thorn responded firmly, "I know you did something, and I will find out what it is."

Evander smirked and whispered, "Good luck with that."

Thorn sat back down at the table when Athena confronted him, "Okay, what did you do?"

Thorn insisted, "Nothing."

Rowan chimed in sarcastically, "I smell something. Oh, wait, it's lies."

Thorn protested, "I really didn't do anything."

Felix added skeptically, "Yeah, sure, because you needed to go to the WC when Evander wanted to go, and you came back in one second."

Thorn retorted, "Yeah, nothing suspicious about that."

Flint interjected, "Sounds pretty suspicious to me."

Thorn persisted, "Well, I did nothing suspicious."

Athena remained skeptical, retorting, "Yeah, sure."

Quickly changing the subject, Thorn interjected, "Uhm, uhm, well, what about the time traveler guy? That's pretty suspicious."

Felix nodded in agreement, "Ah, yeah, I kind of forgot about that dude. Yeah, it is suspicious about that guy, too. True."
