Colonel Rhodes had just finished speaking, and the senators on the scene began to chime in.
"I believe we should agree. After all, Mandarin is too dangerous; we can't leave the fate of our country to some absurd luck!"
"I concur! Relying on luck is nonsense!"
"I agree too! We should take the initiative! Mandarin is already surrounded! What are we afraid of? If he dares to resist, countless weapons will rain down on him! I refuse to believe Mandalin can survive!"
"Yes, I agree!"
Most of the senators on the scene were in agreement, obviously unaffected by Colonel Rhodes's earlier words.
This prompted Colonel Rhodes to angrily shout at the senators, unable to hold back.
"Are you trying to get everyone ambushed in the broadcasting building killed?"
General Chris looked at the outcome with a victorious smile on his face.
He glanced at Colonel Rhodes and said calmly, "Colonel Rhodes, please mind your position."
"Furthermore, if this mission truly fails, don't we still have those so-called superheroes you mentioned?"
"Are you suggesting that so many superheroes can't handle Mandalin?!"
General Chris shook his head, sighing, "But it's quite obvious that this plan will definitely succeed."
There was a hint of mockery and pride in his tone.
If it weren't for the many people still present at the meeting, Chris would have loved to blast him with an Iron Patriot suit!
General Chris looked at President Matthew Ellis with respect and said, "President Matthew , I hope you can trust me."
"I've served as the Minister of Defense for so many years; you've seen my achievements and my loyalty."
"This strategic deployment can be considered a collective effort from all of us."
"Now that Mandarin is within our control, we cannot hesitate!"
After speaking, General Chris glanced at Colonel Rhodes, who had turned pale, and continued, "I must admit, the Human Torch is more formidable than us ordinary people."
"But can he take on Mandarin alone? Relying on luck? What can luck prove?"
"I now have every reason to believe that the Human Torch refuses to carry out the mission to the broadcasting building because he's afraid!"
Although President Matthew Ellis remained silent with no expression, there was some internal wavering.
After all, the plan seemed flawless.
Seeing President Matthew Ellis's silence, General Chris stood up immediately and said firmly, "If this plan fails, I'm willing to step down from my position as Minister of Defense!" President Matthew Ellis's face showed a hint of expression, rare for him.
"You're taking this too seriously," he said after a pause.
"But since it's come to this, tell them the operation begins."
Colonel Rhodes seemed to want to say something, but the Minister of Defense smiled at him and said, "Colonel Ross, I don't want us to be at odds."
"But I'll let you know that even without the Human Torch's intervention, our Defense Department can still handle this issue!"
...
"Let's get off here."
"Anna's location isn't too far from here, but we might need to walk a bit."
Hapi looked at the red dot on his phone and stopped the car.
The three got out of the car, and Hapi handed his phone to Indra, saying, "Look, it's right here."
As he spoke, Hapi pointed to the red dot on his phone.
Indra took the phone and glanced at it.
Lorna Dane spoke up, "I think I can fly you over there."
Lorna Dane looked at Indra, smiling.
Indra remembered that since Lorna Dane had inherited Magneto's powers, she could also control magnetic fields to fly.
"I think that's a good idea," Indra nodded.
Seeing the two agreeing, Hapi hurriedly asked Lorna Dane, "What about me?"
Lorna Dane looked at Hapi, regretfully saying, "I might not be able to fly you."
"I suggest you run over; maybe you'll find your girlfriend."
With that, Lorna Dane flew off with Indra towards the red dot.
Indra looked at Lorna Dane and asked, "You can fly directly?"
Lorna Dane shook her head and said, "I put iron chips in my shoes, so I can control them to fly."
After saying this, Lorna Dane landed on the ground without warning.
This caught Indra off guard, and he stumbled a few steps.
Lorna Dane laughed and looked at Indra, asking, "What? Not used to flying?"
Indra looked at Lorna Dane seriously and said, "I might get airsick."
Lorna Dane didn't react at first, asking, "Airsick?"
The next moment, Indra said, "You should be grateful; at such a young age, you already have an airport that others don't."
