"What should we do, brother?" Eleanor asked.
Elvis crossed his arms over his narrow back as he paced back and forth, pondering his sister's question.
Eleanor followed his movements with her eyes, and finally, unable to bear it any longer, she burst out, "Can't you sit down or stand still for a moment? I'm already getting dizzy from your constant pacing."
"If you're dizzy, just close your eyes. That way you won't have to see me," Elvis replied without turning to Eleanor.
He eventually stopped walking, a frown on his face. "Now I've lost my train of thought because you interrupted me."
Eleanor's mouth curled into a grin. "You were considering how to talk to Dad."
"No, not that. I was in the middle of devising a plan," Elvis retorted with annoyance. Now he had to start all over again.
His smartwatch alerted him that there were only five minutes left of the break. Realizing they didn't have much time left, his eyes narrowed slightly.
