Chereads / Harry Potter: Necromancer's Legacy / Chapter 49 - NECRO CREATION

Chapter 49 - NECRO CREATION

Within the space ring, Ryan began his training to improve further. He wanted to unlock more spells and improve his stamina. The space expanded like the room of requirement, creating a training arena for him. Now, without any outer interruption, he could focus on training. He has unleashed enough chaos outside, so everyone would be busy dealing with each other. So, why waste time waiting?

The sun hung high in the artificial sky, casting a warm glow over the flowery landscape. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves of the grand oak tree under which Bellatrix and Narcissa sat, their eyes fixed intently on Ryan.

"Focus," Ryan muttered to himself, closing his eyes and centering his mind. He extended his hands outward, palms up, and began to channel necro energy. A dark, swirling mist formed around his fingers, pulsating with an eerie glow. He felt the familiar rush of power coursing through him. With a deep breath, he began to manipulate the energy, attempting to shape it into various forms.

He imagined a simple sphere, but the necro energy resisted, writhing and dissipating into the air. "Tsk." He tried again, this time focusing on a cube, but the energy flared uncontrollably and vanished. Ryan gritted his teeth, in frustration. He extended his hands once more, this time trying to form a dagger. The necro energy started to take shape, but then it flickered and dispersed, leaving him panting and drained.

"Fuck!" He was exhausted. He slumped on the ground on his back, looking up at the sky. "This is harder than I thought. Is it really impossible to manipulate the necro energy like this?" He extended his right hand up at the sky. "Impossible?! Fuck that! I WILL do it!" Ryan roared with determination. He gathered his remaining strength and forced himself to his feet. He closed his eyes and concentrated on manipulating the necro energy once more.

Bellatrix and Narcissa watched in silence. Bella looked worried as she was about to rush to his side, but then she remembered Ryan's words. He told them not to interfere with his training and stay under the tree.

Ryan struggled for hours but failed every time. But he never gave up. He repeated the process again and again until he was covered in sweat and trembling with exhaustion. But he kept going. He continued to push himself to the limit, determined to succeed. He took a moment to steady his breath, closing his eyes and clearing his mind.

"Ok. Forcing it is impossible... So, what if I let it flow freely?"

He extended his hands, summoning the necro energy once more. This time, he visualized a sphere again, but instead of forcing the energy, he guided it gently, allowing it to flow naturally. Slowly, the necro energy took shape, forming a faint dark, pulsating sphere. It was unstable, flickering at the edges, but it held its form.

"Hahaha... Here it is," He concentrated harder, willing the sphere to solidify. After a few tense moments, the sphere became more defined, its surface smooth and steady. 'I knew it!' Ryan allowed himself a small smile, but he knew this was just the beginning. He moved on to more complex shapes—a cube, a dagger, a shield—each one requiring intense focus and control. There were failures and setbacks, but with each attempt, he learned and improved.

After several hours of practice, Ryan decided to push himself further. He closed his eyes again, this time summoning a larger amount of necro energy. The dark mist coalesced into a dense, writhing mass in front of him. He envisioned a spectral hound, a creature of shadow, and began to shape the energy accordingly. The idea of a spectral hound came from the game that he played back in his previous life. Those shadowy creatures were a menace and annoying to deal with due to their agility and attack speed.

He wasn't sure it would work, but considering he was able to shape the necro energy into different shapes, then why not a hound made of pure energy?

[Booom!] The energy mass exploded, sending him flying backward. Ryan coughed up blood, struggling to get up. He was dizzy and disoriented but managed to see Bellatrix running towards him. She couldn't hold back anymore, seeing him wounded from the backlash. She quickly opened a bottle of potion and poured it down Ryan's throat.

"Ryan! Are you ok?" she asked frantically, checking his body for injuries.

Ryan groaned weakly, nodding his head. "Yeah... I'm fine... I kinda overdid it. Sorry for worrying you." The potion's effect kicked in, healing his wounds instantly. He sat up and touched Bella's chin, before kissing her lips softly. Narcissa's cheeks turned red watching them kiss passionately. Her eyes were focused on Ryan's hands which wandered all over Bellatrix's body. Seeing Narcissa blushing, Ryan chuckled. "Well, time to continue. Please go back. It's not safe here for you."

Bellatrix nodded obediently, giving Ryan another passionate kiss before leaving with Narcissa. This was the first time Bella did something on her own, like that second kiss and showing concern for her master. Obsession, admiration, love... Who knows? Maybe all three...

'They look so cute together,' he thought with a smile. Then, he stood up and focused on his training again.

The dark mist swirled around his fingers, pulsating with an eerie glow. He visualized the spectral hound, recalling every detail from the games he once played. A creature of shadow, agile and lethal, a true embodiment of necro energy.

"Come on, focus," Ryan muttered to himself. He channeled the energy, shaping it into the form of a hound. The dark mist began to coalesce, attempting to form a head, but the energy flared uncontrollably, breaking apart. He gritted his teeth in frustration, but he didn't falter. He wasn't new to failure, after all.

Again, he tried. This time, he focused on the hound's legs, imagining them slender and strong, capable of swift, silent movement. The necro energy resisted, flickering and dissipating into the air. Ryan's brow furrowed in concentration. "Humm... The energy is too much to control at once. But, I can feel it... I am getting closer... The dissipating time is decreasing..." He continued to struggle for hours, failing time and time again, but with each attempt, he got closer to his goal.

He extended his hands, summoning the necro energy once more. This time, he visualized the hound not as a whole, but in parts. He started with the head, guiding the energy gently, allowing it to flow naturally. The mist began to take shape, forming a rough outline of the hound's head. It flickered and wavered, but it held.

Ryan smiled grimly. "That's it. Piece by piece." He moved on to the hound's body, guiding the energy with careful precision. The dark mist flowed and twisted, forming the outline of a slender, agile body. It was unstable, flickering at the edges, but it held its shape. He worked on the legs next, shaping them with the same careful guidance. The necro energy flowed more smoothly now, as if it were beginning to understand his intentions. The legs took form, strong and swift, perfectly balanced to support the hound's body.

He moved on to the final piece: the hound's tail. He guided the energy, shaping it into a long, slender tail that swayed with an eerie glow. The hound was almost complete, its form flickering but solid.

"Now, for the hardest part," Ryan whispered. He concentrated on solidifying the entire form, guiding the necro energy to stabilize. The hound flickered, the dark mist swirling chaotically, but he didn't waver. He focused harder, pouring his will into the energy, guiding it with all his strength.

The spectral hound began to solidify. Its form became more defined, its surface smooth and steady. The dark mist coalesced into a dense, shadowy creature, its eyes glowing with an eerie purple glow. The hound stood before Ryan, a perfect embodiment of necro energy.

Ryan let out a loud laugh.

"Hahahahaha! FUCK YEAH!"

He had succeeded. He created a spectral hound made entirely of necro energy. A creature born of pure magic. He patted the hound's head, feeling the cold, solid surface beneath his palm. But something was still missing. The soul. Without a soul, it's just a mass of energy that he can move like a puppet. So, he wasn't satisfied yet.

He summoned one of the skeletons into the arena.

"Ok. I wonder what would happen if I pull out your soul and fuse it with this hound?" An evil grin formed on Ryan's face. He was eager to find out.

He extended his hand and cast a necromantic surge, extracting the skeleton's soul. A blue ball emerged from it as the bones scattered on the ground. He then sent the soul inside the spectral hound's body. The energy pulsated, the dark mist swirling wildly, but it held. Ryan watched in anticipation as the hound's eyes flashed with an eerie blue glow.

"Fuck! Success!"

The hound growled, its body solidified completely, and the blue soul now resided within it. Ryan commanded the hound to move around the arena, testing its movements. The hound moved swiftly and silently, gliding across the ground with unnatural speed. He grinned in satisfaction. The hound was a success. But he wanted to push it further. He wanted to see its limits.

"Bella, you ready for some training?"
