One Meta human swung a steel pipe at him, but Dabao caught it mid-air, shattering it with a surge of bio-electricity. He turned, delivering a powerful kick that sent another attacker crashing into the wall. Shun, the one who had discovered Hanyu, tried to escape, but Dabao was faster. He grabbed Shun by the collar, lifting him off the ground.
Dabao: (eyes narrowing) You. You're the one who found him.
Shun: (terrified) Please, I didn't—
Dabao didn't let him finish. With a furious shout, he sent a jolt of electricity through Shun's body, leaving him convulsing on the ground. The remaining Meta humans tried to flee, but Dabao was relentless. He struck them down one by one, his bio-electricity leaving them incapacitated and writhing in pain.
Finally, Dabao stood amidst the defeated Meta humans, his chest heaving with exertion. He turned his attention to Hanyu, rushing to his side. Kneeling down, he gently lifted Hanyu's head.
Dabao: (voice softening) Hanyu, hang in there. I've got you.
Hanyu: (weakly) Dabao... I knew... you'd come...
Dabao: (determined) Just hold on, okay? I'm getting you out of here.
With great care, Dabao lifted Hanyu into his arms. He turned to the leader of the Meta humans, who lay groaning on the floor.
Dabao: (icily) You'll pay for this. All of you.
Leaving the defeated Meta humans behind, Dabao carried Hanyu out of the building, his mind racing. He had to get Hanyu to safety, but more importantly, he had to stop the plot involving the Titan Serum. For now, his priority was his friend's survival.
Dabao carried Hanyu to his parents' house, moving as quickly and carefully as he could. When they arrived, Leng and Yao rushed to the door, their faces paling as they saw the state their son was in. Yao immediately burst into tears, her hands trembling as she touched Hanyu's battered face.
Yao: (sobbing) My baby... what happened to you?
Leng: (voice shaking) Dabao, what happened? Who did this to him?
Dabao: (angrily) It's because of me. I thought that by abandoning my previous identity, Dabao Zhong, I could protect everyone. But it's only getting worse.
Dabao's eyes were filled with guilt as he looked at Hanyu's parents.
Dabao: I'm so sorry. Hanyu is on the verge of death. There's only one way to save him now.
Yao: (desperately) What is it, Dabao? Please, save my son.
Dabao took out a vial from his pocket, the Titan Serum glinting ominously in the light.
Dabao: This is the Titan Serum. There are very slim chances he will survive, but if he can endure the pain, he will live.
Leng: (determined) Do it, Dabao. We can't lose him.
Yao: (pleading) Please, Dabao. We trust you. Save our son.
Dabao nodded, his jaw set with determination. He knew the risks involved, but there was no other option. He carefully administered the Titan Serum into Hanyu's bloodstream, watching as his friend's body convulsed in response. Hanyu's parents held their breath, their eyes never leaving their son's face.
Dabao: (murmuring) Come on, Hanyu. Fight through this.
Hanyu's body shuddered violently, his skin growing pale and clammy. The minutes felt like hours as Dabao and Hanyu's parents watched over him. Then, gradually, the convulsions began to subside. Hanyu's breathing steadied, and a faint color returned to his cheeks.
Yao: (whispering) Is he...?
Dabao: (relieved) He's stabilizing. The worst is over, but he'll need time to recover and adapt to the serum.
Leng: (gratefully) Thank you, Dabao. You've saved his life.
Dabao: (softly) I owe it to him. And to all of you. I won't let this happen again.
Yao: (hugging Dabao) You're still our Dabao, no matter what you call yourself. Thank you.
As Hanyu's parents tended to him, Dabao stepped outside, taking a moment to gather his thoughts. He knew this was just the beginning. The fight against the Meta humans, Titans, and Predators was far from over, but he was more determined than ever to protect his loved ones and bring justice to their world.
Dabao: (to himself) I have to train harder. I have to be stronger. For Hanyu. For everyone.
With renewed resolve, Dabao disappeared into the night, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
