Lorenzo turned to Alessandro, excitement sparkling in his eyes.
-My brother, what if we left for Rka right now? We know that our soul mate will be in this group the witch told us. Why wait here, suffering this pain, when we could already be on our way?
Alejandro scrutinizing his brother's face.
-Because we have to make these pathetic humans believe that they are indispensable
Lorenzo nodded, his smile widening.
-Now that it's done, can we go?
-Yeah, his brother simply replied in a cold voice.
-Then let's get ready. We are leaving this planet tonight
Alessandro stood up, gathering his strength.
-Don't forget that mother is waiting for us to bring our companion back to Blue. She is counting on us. We can't disappoint her
Lorenzo nodded.
-I know.
-But first write a message to these humans
Lorenzo walked towards a table in the corner of the room, where there was a notebook and a pen. He took a deep breath before starting to write. His words were simple.
Lorenzo put the pen down and looked at the note for a moment, thinking about everything it meant. Then, with renewed resolve, he placed it prominently on the table.
-Let's go, Lorenzo, he said, turning to his brother. "Our destiny awaits us."
The two twins left the medical room, their footsteps echoing in the deserted corridors. They were determined, united by their common quest. Each step brought them a little closer to Rka, to their soul mate, and to the end of their suffering.
They boarded their ship, the view of the blue planet narrowing as they rose into space. Alejandro took one last look at Earth.
As the ship began its journey to Rka, Lorenzo and Alejandro mentally prepared themselves for what awaited them. Their hearts beat in unison, full of hope and determination. Destiny had called them, and they were ready to answer.
